Albert's By The Lighthouse is truly a piece of Ocracoke history. Built in 1920, this iconic property has been home to a variety of businesses over the years, including a gift store, deli and ice cream shop. Now it can be your home away from home! The original storefront facade with charming front porch has been carefully preserved, but inside you'll find modern finishes and furnishings that are both stylish and comfortable. The back side of the home consists of an open-concept great room with updated kitchen and LVP flooring throughout, along with two bedrooms including a primary with King and ensuite bath, and second with twin bed with trundle. The front half offers a third bedroom with Queen bed, second full bath and a rec room with ping pong table for indoor entertainment. Albert's By The Lighthouse welcomes pets, so even your furry family members can join you on the dog-friendly beaches of Ocracoke. Complimentary Starlink satellite internet service allows everyone to stream their favorite shows on smart TV's or personal devices.

True to it's name, Albert's By The Lighthouse is situated on Lighthouse Road, just a three-minute walk to Ocracoke Lighthouse. You'll also be just a short walk or bike ride to Silver Lake Harbor and all the locally owned businesses that make this island community a one-of-a-kind destination. Be sure to set aside a day to explore the nearby Springer's Point Preserve, where nature lovers can spend the day hiking and bird watching in this 120-acre Maritime forest.
