The thatched-roof house is located on a small mound right next to the North Sea dike. The house on the southern dike is historic. It has been continuously renovated and modernized in recent years. It features a modern kitchen with new, high-quality appliances. The rooms were renovated and refurnished in 2025 and 2026.

The vacation home offers 75 square meters of living space, which is divided as follows:
Bedroom (first floor)
Separate living room with a terrace facing the dike, TV, and Wi-Fi access (first floor)
modernly equipped kitchen with dishwasher, stove, fridge-freezer, microwave, etc.
with access from the hallway to another terrace (morning sun)
fully equipped bathroom with toilet, shower, bathtub, and washing machine (first floor)

On the upper floor, there is another room with a TV and a sleeper sofa, as well as a separate guest restroom.

A double garage is attached to the house, also suitable for bicycles you bring with you or rent. Next to the garage is a storage room that houses the electric grill and a clothes rack.

This is a smoke-free home. We strongly ask that smokers only smoke on the patios.
The fiber-optic connection provides fast internet access.
The house is not wheelchair accessible.
Dogs are welcome.

The small Frisian village of Ockholm has about 300 residents. The ferry port of Schlüttsiel—the gateway to the Halligen—is just a few minutes’ drive away, as is the ferry port of Dagebüll, which offers connections to the islands of Föhr and Amrum.
Ferries from Dagebüll to Heligoland run only during the season.
The island of Sylt can be reached by the Marschbahn train from Langenhorn in about 45 minutes.
