"This spot was awesome! The neighborhood didn’t have a great reputation with the locals but we honestly had no problems at all staying on this part of the island. The hosts were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed and even offered lots of really great recommendations for things to do while we were there. "This is our second time to stay here. We loved it, and came back because it was so quiet and comfortable, and such a beautiful place and view. The yurts are well equipped and clean. The elevation makes for comfortable cool, but not cold, nights. The central sky light is spectacular at night with so many stars. It is calm and quiet and beautiful with various flowers. "Beautiful & peaceful location on the big island away from the busier areas. Our host was very welcoming and always made sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed falling asleep to the sounds of a crackling fire every night. Large house with everything we needed and a very unique private yard setting."

"Staying in a luxury yurt is a welcome change from the endless parade of conventional hotel rooms. Without sacrificing comfort one is a step closer to nature, with ocean breezes cooling from below and stars lighting the landscape from above."

"Nice budget friendly part of the world in South part of the big Island. Very neat and tidy accommodation. Good bed. Quiet place. Access to punaluhulu black sand beach for an easy walk to see the turtles. Staff friendly. It is dated but def neat and tidy and we could have stayed an extra couple of nights. Worth the stop. "

"I booked for the waterfront view. It did not disappoint! Out of town, quiet, amazing view. Had everything we needed. Great communication with owner. Also, owner had some great suggestions for shopping and restaurants. "

"This home was perfect for my husband and I for our honeymoon. The views are gorgeous and every sunset is breathtaking! Great spot for fishing as well! "This home was even nicer than it appeared in the listing photos. The decks are enormous and provide an ocean view as well as a hillside view. This house is the last house on the road so the view across the hillside is unobstructed. The neighborhood beach is across the street and we never saw more than 3 or 4 people on it. "This is a beautiful place. Plenty of room for our family. 3rd bedroom does have a separate entrance but, it was fine for our older kids! Beautiful drive to get there and beautiful views. "The house has a great layout that was comfortable for 6. The views are wonderful, especially the view of the ocean from the deck. It was a very short walk to a quiet little beach which we liked much better than the big-named beaches. The place was easy to keep clean with an outside shower for rinsing off. It’s a bait of a drive for groceries or restaurants, so plan ahead. But the neighborhood is really pretty and this house is beautiful. All around we had a fabulous week. "

"Everything about our stay was wonderful. The hosts Carl and Deb were easy to communicate with and responsive to questions. We loved how secluded we were and the private water pond is way bigger than the pictures show. This was a really nice feature every morning and every evening. The house is equipped with all you need. Coolers, beach stuff, fully stocked kitchen. Beds and linens super comfy and comes with a whole drawer of sun tan lotion! We will be return guests for sure!"
