Welcome to The Shearwater on Porter Avenue, a thoughtfully designed condo where coastal style meets modern comfort. The open living area is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, featuring a comfy sofa, a 65” Smart HDTV, and curated local art. A dedicated workspace with high-speed Wi-Fi is also available for those mixing work and play.
Prepare meals in the fully stocked kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances and a coffee bar with organic coffee and teas. We've also considered your well-being with a reverse osmosis water filter for pure drinking water and the use of non-toxic cleaning supplies.
Your comfort is our priority. Both bedrooms feature:
* Plush King-sized memory foam mattresses
* 100% organic cotton sheets and blackout curtains
* A 43” Smart TV for private streaming
For families, we provide a Pack 'n Play (which fits in the primary bedroom's walk-in closet) iykyk, a sound machine, a baby monitor, and kid-friendly dishware. Step out onto the semi-private balcony with your morning coffee or evening drink to enjoy the coastal air.
Guest Access
Enjoy private access to the entire condo during your stay. Your keyless entry code provides seamless self-check-in. You will also have access to the community amenities, including:
* Community swimming pool and lounge area
* Outdoor grilling space
* A shared laundry room that doubles as a game room with foosball and shuffleboard
* Free on-site parking is available for up to two vehicles directly in front of the condo.

Our condo is located in a walker's paradise! You are just steps away from sunset strolls on Front Beach and the heart of downtown Ocean Springs. If you're looking for casinos and nightlife, Biloxi is only a short 10-minute drive away.

House Rules
To ensure a wonderful stay for everyone, we ask that you observe the following rules:
* Maximum occupancy is 5 guests total (this includes infants).
* Well-behaved dogs (max 2, 100lbs total) are welcome for a $75 pet fee. Pets must be disclosed prior to arrival, crated when left alone, and are not permitted on furniture.
* Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the condo and on the balcony.
* Five (5) pool wristbands are provided and must be worn at the pool. A $5 fee will be charged for each unreturned wristband.
Important Information
* Accessibility- This is a second-floor unit and requires climbing a flight of stairs. There is no elevator.
* Community Pool- The pool is not heated. Please note the pool will be closed for the winter season from November 10, 2025, to February 28, 2026.
* Traveling with a Group? We have a neighboring condo, The Driftwood, that can be booked for groups of up to 8. Please message us to coordinate.
* Check-In/Out- We are happy to accommodate an early check-in or late check-out when available for a fee of $25 per hour.
* Security- For your protection, an outdoor security camera with audio is located on the exterior, monitoring the entrance and parking area. It does not have visibility into any interior spaces.
* Mail- Please do not have mail or packages delivered to the property.
* Booking confirms your agreement to all House Rules and Rental Terms.
Guest access
This is a second floor unit and stairs are required in order to access the unit.
As a guest, you will have private access to the entire home for the duration of your stay, including access to the community pool, linen lounge and outdoor grilling space.
Free parking is available directly in front of the condo for up to two vehicles.
Other things to note
(5) pool wrists bands are provided and must be used by guest using the pool. Wrist bands must be returned at check-out. A fee of $5/wrist band will be charged if all wrist bands are not returned.
Well behaved pets are welcome (dogs only). Accompanying pets (2 max, total 100lbs) MUST be disclosed prior to arrival. There will be a $75/ pet fee. Failure to notify host will result in full pet fee due plus additional $200 non-disclosure fee. Please understand we love our furry friends but it does take additional time and cost for our cleaning crew to ensure the home is ready for future guests. Please be respectful to help us in providing the best experience possible to all of our guests. Pets are NOT allowed on any furniture (beds, sofas, chairs, etc). Pets must be crated, if left alone in the condo. Bath & beach towels are not to be used for pets. Please be sure to clean up after your pets! Renter agrees to pay the Owner for any damages to furnishings and household items that occur as a result of Renter’s Pet occupancy. This will include payment of any additional cleaning charges incurred due to Renter’s Pet.
Our cleaners work very hard to clean and sanitize the condo between stays. We use all-natural, toxin-free cleaning supplies in every property to ensure your stay is as healthy and eco-friendly as it is comfortable.
If we can accommodate an early check-in or a late check-out request, there will be an additional $25 fee per hour. Otherwise, check-in is flexible and is anytime after 4PM.
In order to reduce the use of single-use plastic, we are happy to provide our guests with clean drinking water. An AquaTru reverse osmosis under-counter water filter is installed at the kitchen sink. No need to bring or purchase bottled water, we have you and the earth covered! Portable water bottles are also provided during your stay for when you are on-the-go.
To enhance your protection, this property is equipped with an outdoor security camera featuring audio capabilities situated on the exterior. The camera will be actively recording the following areas throughout the duration of your reservation:
- Street in front of the house
- Entrance to the property
- Balcony
- Parking space
Please be assured that the camera is configured to respect your privacy and does not have visibility into any interior spaces.
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the property and/ or on the front porch. If you wish to smoke or vape, please do so outside, in the parking lot and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly. Our HOA has strict rules about this, violations could lead to a fine.
Do not have items mailed to or delivered to property. Owner takes no responsibility for items missing or misplaced.
