Ocean Views on Aldebaran - sleeps 11

  • This is a spacious, split-level home with amazing views from the bottom and top balconies. It can easily accommodate 2 or 3 families with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and two large living areas. There is an abundance of space for all guests to spread out and relax! Guests can enjoy the beach through the day (a 15-minute walk away) and then relax in the evening on the top balcony, taking in the views and enjoying a BBQ!

    Other great features include wood heaters in both lounge rooms, unlimited wifi, smart TV`s, a selection of board games and a great secure backyard complete with trampoline and sand pit!

    There is split system heating and cooling upstairs and downstairs, plus ceiling fans or freestanding fans in each of the bedrooms.

    The beach is a 15-minute walk away, or a 2-minute drive. The main street of Ocean Grove is a 25-minute walk or 5-minute drive. There is a shopping centre at the end of the street and only a 5-minute walk away.

    Entry level (middle):
    Sitting area, bedroom 1 with queen bed and ensuite, bedroom 2 with double bed, bedroom 3 with 2 x singles, main bathroom.

    Bottom level:
    Bedroom 4 with tri-bunk (double and single bed), master bedroom with king bed, private ensuite and sliding doors that open up to the bottom balcony, plus large lounge with wood heater. There is also a laundry with washer and dryer.

    Top level:
    Large open plan living space with kitchen, dining and lounge with wood heater. There are two large sliding doors that open right up to access the balcony with outdoor dining and BBQ.

    Other important information:
    - We supply enough firewood for one or two nights, including kindling and fire lighters. Additional firewood can be purchased from the local petrol station.
    - Body wash, shampoo and conditioner are supplied along with all other home essentials.
    - Towels and bed linen are supplied.
    - Our quiet times are strictly between 10pm and 7am - please do not use outdoor spaces during these times and please be respectful of our lovely neighbours.
    - STRICTLY - no hens/bucks or parties of any type, no schoolies.
    - You must be over the age of 25 to book this property.
    - There is parking for two cars, or free on-street parking.
    - The back yard is secure.
    - Sorry no pets.

    Guests have access to the whole property, except for the garage.

    We are close by if you need us but we like to give you space to enjoy your stay. Access to the property is via a key lock box that contains keys.

    This property has stairs and may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
    GENERAL: All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understood, and
    agree to abide, and be bound, by the Terms and Conditions and House Rules. Please
    treat our home as if it were your own. Please be respectful to our lovely neighbours.
    Strictly NO smoking at this property. Our home is NOT suitable for Schoolies, hens or
    bucks parties. You must be over the age to 25 to make a reservation at our property.
    Please follow parking guidelines where provided.
    CHECK IN/ OUT: Check-in time is not before 3pm on the arrival date and check out
    time is not later than 10am on departure date. Late departure is subject to prior
    arrangement/availability and extra charges may apply.
    Contactless check in will be provided with key safe codes. Keys must be returned to the
    key safe upon checking out. If the keys are not placed back in the lock box a
    management fee will apply for us to allow housekeeping staff access to the property
    and if required replacement of keys.
    THIS PROPERTY DOES NOT ACCEPT PETS
    UNAVAILABLITY: If the property becomes unavailable for your occupancy due to
    unforeseen circumstances (eg. fire, storm, damage, etc) then we will inform you
    immediately and endeavour to obtain suitable alternative accommodation for your
    stay, if we are unable to do so, all money paid will be refunded in full. HostyCo will not
    be liable for additional accommodation costs in the event of these unforeseen
    unavoidable circumstances.
    PARTIES & FUNCTIONS: Parties are strictly prohibited. Breach of this will result in
    immediate eviction without refund and extra charges will apply for any additional,
    cleaning, garbage removal, repairs which may occur. We have the right to evict any
    guest during their stay if we deem them to be in breach of the house rules. THIS
    PROPERTY IS STRICTLY NO SCHOOLIES.
    There should be no disturbance to neighbours at any time during your stay.
    LINEN AND TOWELS: We supply all bed linen and towels. They must be left where
    supplied in the bedrooms or bathroom on departure. Further linen may be hired upon
    request prior to arrival. Properties with pools will include pool towels for your stay. Any
    damage or stains requiring additional laundering or replacement of linen may incur a
    charge or replacement fee. Stays longer than 1 week may request a housekeeping
    service for cleaning and/or linen servicing charged at a fee .
    YOUR OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: You are responsible for damage, breakages, theft and
    loss of the property and any part of it during your stay. You must notify us of this
    immediately if damages occur. We may recover from you repair or replacement costs.
    Occupancy must not exceed the agreed number booked for or the maximum listed as
    occupancy in the house description. Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive
    noise at anytime (day or night), is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction
    without refund and extra charges may be made for security and other expenses. Noise
    should not be heard from outside the property after 10pm.
    Call outs: Lost keys/lock outs will incur a $70 (or $100 after hours) call out fee for
    management to provide access plus the cost of replacement keys if required.
    Upon departure, all food must be removed from fridges, all rubbish put in the
    appropriate council rubbish bins provided, crockery and cutlery washed and packed
    away, dishwasher emptied. If there is a BBQ onsite, it must be cleaned after use, failure
    will incur a $100 fee. The property must be left in a clean and tidy condition. All
    furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in when you arrived.
    Smoking is not permitted in the property. No illicit drugs to be brought onto the
    property. You must allow repair/service access to the property during reasonable hours.
    HostyCo is not liable for any damage or loss of property during your stay.
