Sit back and relax while you are spoiled by luxury in this new three bedroom, two bath condominium on popular Sunset Island. Gated and secured 24/7, Sunset Island is known for its exclusivity and 'Charleston' Style design. Although it has only existed a short time, people from all over are talking about this resort community and signing up for their next vacation.

In addition to its convenient location, Ocean City also has activities to satisfy all lifestyles. Whether you prefer the ocean waves or just the tranquility of the bay, you are sure to find peace of mind while staying at our Condo.

Adjacent to the Condo building is one of the three private beaches on the bay, where the waves are calm enough for small children to play safely. This also makes a great launching spot to take out your kayak or canoe to tour the inlet. Need some waves to try out your boogeyboard? From the Sunset Island gate, walk two blocks and you're at the beach! In fact, the Washington Post rated 65th-75th streets the BEST stretch of beach in Ocean City.

Nervous about a cold or rainy day and what you'll do with the kids? No worries, you can take them to Sunset Island's indoor heated pool! Open all year long with a certified lifeguard on duty, you can relax in the chaise lounge chairs while your kids burn energy playing Marco Polo. Full-size locker rooms with saunas help you melt your troubles away before you retreat to your memory foam mattresses for a peaceful nights' sleep.

Like to relax and watch TV while on vacation? All of the bedrooms have flat screen televisions to enjoy, while the Family Room has the largest and is “smart” allowing streaming of your favorite shows! Best view is from the sofa; you can watch the tube and glance to the right out at the Bay. You can also enjoy this view from the master bedroom which also has it's own private soaking tub big enough for two! The condo also features a gas fireplace, four ceiling fans, Corian countertops, GE appliances, and 12 by 12 tile flooring providing you with the comfort and luxury you deserve while enjoying your vacation.

Master bedroom features a king bed, dresser for storage, large walk in closet, private balcony access and private bathroom. Bedroom 2 includes a queen bed, dresser and closet space. Bedroom 3 includes two twin beds, a dresser and closet. There is a hall bathroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area for your convenience also. The bedrooms have tvs and ceiling fans. *Due to current COVID restrictions, our linen service will not be provided.

Family of 5, (3 adults and 2 kiddos) spent a week in Sunset Island this past July/August and everyone had a great time. We visit with different family members every year with varying degrees of satisfaction regarding the different condos we rent and I can say this condo was great. 5 stars. We plan on renting the same condo next year. The kitchen was well stocked, had a decent selection of pool/beach accessories, it was clean and the owner was super quick to respond with any questions and concerns. If you're unsure about the condo or Sunset Island in general, I would highly recommend both; the location and the condo specifically.

Another Fantastic Vacay in Sunset Island

This was our 5th summer in a row renting this property. We absolutely love this property. Sunset Island is the best resort in Ocean City, hands down. I have found you really get what you pay for, totally worth the price. This large condo suits our family perfectly because the resort has something for everyone, even as my kids age and my oldest is a teenager now, all can enjoy this resort. I love that the resort is secluded and its own community. We bring bikes and feel safe letting our kids roam the quaint streets, even after dark. We feel at home and the condo has everything we need, including a fully stocked kitchen (we cook most meals at home). The beach chairs and pool cart are nice to have available. The location of this unit is perfect because we love being so close to the little beach just steps from our unit (enjoy paddle boarding/kayaking by renting at a location close by) and the short walk to enjoy the amazing sunset that never disappoints! I love waking up before the family and sneaking away to get a coffee at the small market (Marisol's) and walk on the walking trails around the property. This year my daughter participated in a week of summer camp that Town of Ocean City offers at fantastic prices (so many to choose from but we did Jr. Fire Fighter camp...sign up early they sell out). We also took advantage of an art class held at the community center near the pool at Sunset Island decorating oyster shells. I can't wait to go back in 2026!

Labor Day Weekend

We love Sunset Island. Best of both worlds… a quiet community surrounded by the busy thrills of Ocean City. Great amenities. The condo was just right with great views from the deck.

Perfect Location for families with small children

This was our first time on Sunset Island and we loved the location and all the amenities. The location of this condo is very close to a private bay beach which is great for little kids. Lots of nice sand too. We launched our paddle board from the bay beach and explored the nearby coves.The condo was stocked with all the beach gear you need and a cart. We will definitely be back again!

Location gave the feel of a quiet beach town in bustling OCMD

We love OCMD but we struggle sometimes with the busyness of coastal highway with its businesses and high rises so staying on sunset island was such a surprise. We didn’t walk to the beach because, for our family in the hot and humid weather, it was just too far but we had no trouble parking right off of the beach entrances on 67th st and loved coming back to the serene location with private parking. We also enjoyed the sunset island pool and clubhouse area and even took advantage of some of the community activities like a movie on the beach and some tye dye for the kids. Just make sure you bring things like toilet paper, trash bags, hand soap, dish soap and sponges, etc because they are not provided.

Excellent Vacation AGAIN

For the 4th year in a row, we rented this condo. It is absolutely wonderful and we feel like it is our own. The location is near a small beach and we absolutely love that. We rented kayaks and paddle boats and picnicked on the beach. I love waking up before the family and sneaking out early to get my Starbucks at Marisol's. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything I needed to cook most meals at home. We love having the washer and drying so we can return home with all clean clothes. We have a lot of family in the OC area and it a great to be so close by and also be able to have them visit at this very large condo. The sunsets are gorgeous. Mary is a wonderful host and very responsive. We will be back next year.

Needs Some TLC

We have been regular renters at Sunset Island for a decade now. We love the property both in-season and off. This trip, for NYE 2024, there was construction outside our door. The massive cranes blocked our view of the bay and the jackhammer for hours on the first day were upsetting. Pros-the couches/ beds were comfortable! We love twin beds instead of bunks. There was ample storage in the bedrooms. We didn't use the beach cart or chairs, but it would be great if we were there in the summer. The kitchen was decently stocked to be able to cook a full meal and dessert. Cons- Cleanliness: It was clear the cleaners did a quick job, as there were pistachio shells on the kitchen floor/pantry, sticky cards under the placemats on the dining table, sticky tile floors in the bathrooms. An excrement stain was found on the master bedroom quilt. There were dirty dishtowels stuffed in drawers. Linens: We usually rent through Vacasa and their linen service is much superior. We only received three towels for our 5. The towels were thin/small. There were no bathmats in the bathrooms. This seems like a major liability issue to me. We went to TJ Maxx in town to buy bathmats and towels, which was annoying and an added cost. Electric: Issues with heating the unit. There is a Google Nest and it was set to 63/ was freezing. Now matter how high we put it, it wouldn't stay warm. Owner contacted/helped.Need more lamps. Can/LED lights harsh and awful. Master closet lights out. Microwave light out.

Wonderful!

The property was gorgeous, as was the condo! The little private beach made our stay. There was construction going on which wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the owners fault, and we were off season so I get it. Proximity to everything was perfect and the host was extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for a family vacation

The condo was perfect for our family getaway. It was clean, furnished with everything we needed for the week, and a perfect base camp for our vacation. And Mehrnaz was so helpful and responsive when we had a little trouble at check-in. We will definitely stay here again!

Excellent for families

Great place to stay with a family, it was well equipped for kids, stool for bathroom, shower head detachable for tub time. Beach cart and chairs, pack and play, USB-C docking station and monitor to get a little work done if needed. The apartment was beautiful and well decorated, had everything we needed, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great Stay!

Property is exactly as advertised. Great location. You cannot beat the amenities at Sunset Island. We had our 1.5 yr old and 2.5 yr old with us. Between the small bay beach right outside the condo building to the pool to the water fountain in the center, we never ran out of something fun to do. The condo is spacious and clean. Hope to be back next year!

Amazing Week!

We planned this trip to celebrate my daughters 16th birthday, where she brought 2 of her friends to enjoy a week for a beach vacation and everyone had a wonderful time! I liked that the property is located in a private gated community that was quiet and family friendly. Mary, the host was wonderful! She communicated all instructions perfectly, so checking in was effortless. The condo was very clean and had every amenity available so you feel right at home. We had a minor issue with a slight backup in the hall bathtub, but Mary called and had a plumber there to rectify it within 48 hours of our arrival. The view from the balcony was incredible to enjoy the sunrise and sunset each day. The property itself was so quaint and beautiful. My husband and I spent an entire day at the pool enjoying cocktails and beach volleyball. We lucked out with the weather as it was supposed to rain all week, but only had one evening of showers. The walk to the ocean beach took about 10-15 min (not bad). We brought our own beach chairs but never took them out of the car because there were 6 beach chairs and a cart in one of the closets. I can't thank Mary enough for giving my daughter a wonderful week with her friends to celebrate her 16th birthday! And my husband and I a well needed vacation!

Another great Stay

This is the 3rd time we have rented the condo. It was wonderful as usual!! As a child I grew up with a beach house in Ocean City (110th St. bayside), worked there in the summers during high school and college and as an adult, I have stayed at so many different locations....but Sunset Island it the BEST!! We can't wait to book again next year!!

Great Family Week

Our family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. Kitchen perfect for all the family meals we cooked-dining room table perfect for those family meals and family game nights. We had a wonderful week-everything was clean and well maintained. Owner very helpful and quick to respond to any questions/concerned. Have stayed in Sunset Island many times this was one of our favorite stays.

Best of Ocean City!

We stay at Sunset Island every May when we come down for the car show. This was the first time staying in this unit and we loved it! One of the most beautiful sunrise views on the island. Every room has a smart TV for Disney+, Netflix, etc. The rooms are nice and clean, large bedrooms and bathrooms and a nice open concept. There’s a elevator, which makes loading and unloading your luggage very convenient. It’s location is right next to one of the 3 beaches on the island, and just a short walk to the indoor pool. The host was the best!! Great communication, very informative, super helpful. Check in / check out was also very easy and quick.
