Offering access to incredible shared amenities, including indoor, outdoor, and kiddie pools, a whirlpool spa, an exercise room, saunas, and a children’s play area, this marvelous, family-friendly condo is simply unbeatable! This tastefully decorated condo is part of the Carousel Hotel, which is famous for its ice rink and amenities mentioned above. This condo has been recently updated (2021) with two new double beds and two new queen beds with new mattresses and box springs. Also for 2021, the primary bedroom has new furniture and a wall-mounted TV, and new high speed, private WiFi. Enjoy an oceanfront location with picture-perfect beach views and a convenient balcony. Cook up a masterpiece in the fully-equipped kitchen and surprise your group with tasty meals and beach snacks. Then, you all can rest for a while watching TV or reading in the living room before heading out to one of the pools or the beach! The private washer/dryer on site will take care of your swimming suits and laundry during your stay.

*The opening and closing of building amenities is at the discretion of the building. Please note during the off-season some amenities are not operable. Call with questions.

THINGS TO KNOW
No smoking and no pets, please.

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 22.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Great for a family

The place was clean and the hotel had many great amenities. The outdoor bar was convenient for lunch and the indoor arcade and ice rink kept the kids busy on a rainy day. We will be coming back in the future.

Great long weekend

Great place to stay with my extended family. Just needs a little bit of up updating. The blinds in the two beachfront rooms need to be replaced. They’re breaking and maybe should be replaced with blackout blinds in the bedroom - it was quite bright in the morning! But overall very pleased with the place! Thanks for a great Easter weekend!

Great location, beautiful views.

We especially loved how well stocked the kitchen was with utensils. The view from the balcony was the beach. Who can beat that? The view from the porch was the bay and there were two picnic tables where we enjoyed many happy meals. The only glitch was with the air conditioning. It took a couple days to get that resolved. Not good in summer. Overall, it was a winner, winner, chicken dinner.

The condo was spacious and furniture was very comfortable. Loved the view of both the ocean and the bay. Had picnic tables to sit outside on the bay side while watching the classic cars ride by. Sinks in both bathrooms were very low. Bed in master bedroom was very comfortable. Wasn’t happy that the listing indicated that towels and supply kit of toilet paper would be provided but they weren’t. I had to go out and buy towels & toilet paper. Not happy about being inconvenienced even though vacasa said they would reimburse me for the purchase of the towels & paper.

Never again

My family stays at carousel every year during this weekend. Over never seen a condo in such disrepair. It’s a handyman’s special, with nothing special about it. The furniture was covered in stains and had a greasy feel to it. The carpet was so gross we had to throw a blanket on the floor before I let my school age kids play. There were ceiling tiles literally falling down in the master bathroom. This condo was a disgrace to carousel.

Loved the views of both the bay views in front while eating outside at picnic benches and the ocean views from the deck as well as closeness to beach. Did not like the fact that room was not ready for us to enter on time at 4:00. We received our keys at 4:00 however the cleaning staff looked like they just started to clean our room and could tell they did a rush job to prepare our rooms. I feel like a thorough cleaning was not done of our place before we entered for our stay. Was told by cleaning people after they left that they had to spend majority of their time cleaning stove and oven from previous people who rented the place. We officially did not get into our rooms until 5:00 pm on day of arrival whereby we sat at picnic benches with our belongings on carts including food items waiting for them to be done. We tidied up best we could with what we had before we unpacked our belongings.

Dirty and Missing Basic Amenities

I stay at this property annually, so I knew what I was getting into - the hotel rooms aren’t very clean or updated but we host a conference here, so it’s more continent than anything else. This was my first year booking a condo and I was expecting minimal amenities, for sure, but not at all what I walked into. The place was dirty, especially the floors, blankets, and couches. I know it’s a beach destination but it is as if only the minimum level of cleaning ever happens here. The kitchen was never deep cleaned, so while the dishes themselves were clean, I still felt the need to wash them before I used them. I’ll never get in a rental why so many people leave behind their gross condiment packets and things, but the drawers were filled with them. They also had a quite useless collection of disorganized and dirty pots, bowls, baking pans, etc. that weren’t helpful when we attempted to cook. The bedrooms were clean enough but the blankets are clearly never washed and the closets are filled with random stuff. The most egregious is that they claimed we’d have all the sheets we needed but multiple beds didn’t have pillowcases at all. Gross. Lastly, I understand that the amenities provided are minimal in vacation rentals but usually it’s an all-or-nothing deal. What was provided in terms of towels, toilet paper, etc. wasn’t useful or helpful with the number of occupants this unit can fit. And that wasn’t made clear ahead of time.

Great Family Friendly Condo

This was a great family friendly condo. The beds were comfortable and the layout was really great for someone with kids. I liked that the condo didn't have a bunch of small fragile decorations like I see at some of the places for rent. The front balcony with the picnic tables was really nice. Our only issue was the dryer does take along time to dry things, but it was not a huge issue. We would stay in this condo again.

The Penthouse has everything you would want when you are on vacation. This year the sheets and towels are now here, so in the past you needed to bring your own. Beds in all bedrooms were comfortable and TV in each room. There are 2 balconies one facing the Ocean the other with 2 big picnic tables on the bay side. Everything was super clean when we arrived and the staff was friendly. The Hotel has an ice rink and indoor pool and out door pool. You can walk right out over the dunes and onto the beach. Love this place will be back again soon!! Highly recommend this place easily sleeps 12 people with the sleep sofa in the living room. The sleep sofa was really comfortable too. It has a nice mattress /upgraded mattress on it TOO!!!
