    The Space:

    The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops. A well-rested vacation awaits at this charming, family-friendly condo just steps away from the beach! It's well-equipped with everything you and your guests could ever need to spend an unforgettable time together. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony with terrific beach views, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.



    Things to Know

    The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.

    The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.

    Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.



    Assigned Parking begins Sunday 6/6/26 through 9/11/26. In Season Check in and Parking instructions:

    NO EARLY PARKING or NO EARLY CHECK-INS ***No Early Parking and space numbers are NOT the same as the unit number.

    ***SATURDAYS ONLY… ****Security Staff will be positioned in the parking lot to give you your parking permit and parking space number at your check in time through 8pm, after 8pm please go to the front desk in the lobby of the Golden Sands building. There is 1 parking space available and Building Policy is a strict No early parking. Vehicles may not be parked or left unattended during the move in or move out process. All vehicles must be parked in your assigned parking space or your vehicle is subject to booting or towing at the vehicle owner’s expense. Parking tags must be displayed at all times. ***No Early Parking and space numbers are NOT the same as the unit number.

    ***SUNDAY through FRIDAY…June 6th, 2026 through September 11th, 2026 ****Please see the front desk in the lobby of the Golden Sands for your parking permit at your check in time. Please have your check in email ready for staff. ***



    Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Great! Best view we’ve ever had from an accommodation. Beautifully furnished with everything you need even stocked with games. Golden Sands has indoor and outdoor pools, gym, game room, private beach, tiki bar with food and drinks and more. Highly recommend.

This was an excellent unit. Best we’ve ever had at the Golden Sands. All top of the line accessories. We’ve stayed in many of their units but this is by far the best ever. It’s obvious the owners love their unit.

Amazing stay, highly recommend

I normally don't write reviews but this apartment deserves a good review. It's a great apartment with great views and amenities. But what really stood out was how well maintained it was with many little thoughtful things around the apartment to make you feel welcome. It was extremely clean and a stack of clean towels was waiting for us when we got there. The kitchen had good appliances and lot of dishes, pots and pans to be able to make breakfast or a good meal. Good beds with a lot of sheets and pillows. Overall a very relaxing stay with everything you need to enjoy with family or friends.

Amazing views!

This unit was great! It is nicely decorated, lots of hooks to hang things, master bedroom has an amazing view of the ocean. Appreciated all the ceiling fans and air conditioning the week we were there. The location is close to the grocery store and some restaurants. There are limited elevators so sometimes we had to wait but we could also take the stairs! Highly recommend this rental!

Beautiful updated condo perfect for our family!

We loved this unit!! It not only looked just like the photos, everything you could possibly need was there. From your linens, towels to starter packs of cleaning supplies and paper products. The view was beautiful, there’s literally nothing bad we can say about our stay here. If we come back to OC, we will definitely rent 817 again!

Bathrooms & kitchen nicely remodeled. Small unit with plenty of storage for your belongings except hall closet has full size washer & dryer which leaves little room for beach gear. Large condo building so had to wait for elevators from time to time. Not a deal breaker, you just need patience. Pool, tiki bar & ice cream shop were a bonus.

Nice condo but marijuana and air conditioning a problem.

Over all the condo was very nice. The AC struggled some even with the doors consistently kept closed. And there was a very strong odor of Marijuana coming through the ventilation and in the hallways the entire time we were there. Having 2 small kids exposed to that for a week is absolutely not okay.

Best condo

This is the best condo I’ve ever stayed at, we have booked this three times and just booked our fourth visit already. They thought of everything, with full size washer and dryer, updated appliances and kitchen supplies, to comfortable beds and furniture. It’s clean, comfortable, and cute. The WiFi has improved, as is the hot water, and the additional hooks on the wall were very helpful. The tv is easier to use now and the furniture on the balcony is perfect. You can tell this unit gets thorough cleaning - the owners must go the extra mile and it shows. I could name so many little details they thought of, providing hangers and night lights, rugs are all in the perfect spots, and lots of storage. Thank you for taking such great care of it, as the other guests who stay too who treat with it respect. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here!

Pros and Cons

Pros- decorated nicely-comfortable beds Cons- Too bright in second bedroom due to hall light. Bring eye mask. Elevators are very slow and don’t always work. We were stuck for 20 minutes with call button and alarm not bringing anyone to help. Noise - renters or owners above made a lot of noise. Sounded like furniture being moved from early morning until late at night. Would not rent in his building again.

Our favorite condo

We love all the updates this unit has! One thing to know is with Vacasa now linens are included. It doesn’t say that anywhere! Check in is at 2pm but when we got to our condo it was not cleaned yet! I called CSC and they said check in is 4pm - but everything I received said 2… I was transferred to the manager at Vacasa and they had the cleaning crew to our room within 10 minutes. We also did not get our starter kit bc of the mix up. But we loved the condo and booked it again already. This is our second time staying. The large washer and dryer is a game changer. Updated kitchen sink appliances are so nice. We love the bathrooms and the water and ice in the fridge is an awesome perk! Silver wear and dishes are all updated and nice. Literally everything is nice. Mattresses are comfortable. The wifi is probably the only thing that stinks so you use data all week. And the hot water seems to be turned really low. We had 5 in our family and it was difficult all taking showers back to back, definitely ran out of hot water. I wish they would turn it up because it’s a huge tank and we paid for a large room with 2 bathrooms for a reason. But all in all we plan to keep booking the room, this is the nicest I’ve experienced. Thank you for keeping this unit so nice!
