"The property is a delight. It’s cosy clean and warm. Not many places offer a view of an ancient castle. Richard shows huge interest in how guests recycle. The compost bin meant all our food waste doesn’t go to land fill. It’s our second time staying in Castle Cottage and would not hesitate to recommend this gem of a place to stay. "

"Myself and 11 friends had a great stay at Taynuilt. The house was perfect for the big group, the outdoor space, hot tub and number of bedrooms and bathrooms in particular. The kitchen was great for cooking and well equipped. The host was very helpful and communicative. Would definitely recommend and stay again! "

"This was a beautiful house in gorgeous Glencoe with impressive views and stunning hiking and walks on our doorstep. The house itself was spotless and very well-equipped. "Lovely 4 night family stay, weather not great but enough time between showers for walking. Hot tub a bonus as it doesn’t matter what the weather is to make full use. One item missing from the kitchen was a sieve so we had to get creative for pasta and vegetables. Could also have done with some kitchen clothes (J cloths or similar) and some coat hooks for hanging up wet coats etc."

It's for sure a drive into Oban, but there is a Bus Stop right outside your door so not a problem to get into town. Property is quite got a good night sleep every night. "The property was fantastic, exactly as described online. Sauna was awesome, beds comfy. Views were out of this world. Only slight fault was that I left a answer machine message asking how to use the sauna ( there were no instructions) and never received a reply. We worked it out but the customer service could be improved. Nonetheless it was a fantastic stay, we will definitely be returning."
