"Our room was on the second floor. My husband is disabled. Came to find out the owner had not maintained the elevator for 4 years because he’s too cheap to apply for inspection it has to be fixed. Room sleeps 3 and the bed had no blankets sheets or pillows. The very kind kitchen prepper( no staff on hand and no WiFi info) got us a blanket that had a bowling ball size hole right in the middle. "Such a lovely spot for a stormy weekend. The king rooms were clean and comfy! Loved watching the wildlife around and all the natural light in the room. They even set up a fire for us and we were able to make smores:) "

We couldn’t get a reservation at Blue Wings Saloon nearby for Valentine’s Day, and the owner / manager made it happen for us - which was a welcome treat after a long day of travel. "The room was clean and cozy, and we really appreciated having access to both a pool and a hot tub. The indoor pool was heated, which made it even better because we were able to enjoy some fun swimming. They also offered a complimentary breakfast with a good variety of options, including waffles, bagels, English muffins, cereal, oatmeal, eggs, and sausage. On top of that, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, we had a great experience and I would definitely book this hotel again."

"No housekeeping service for 3 days, no fresh towels no cleanup no bed preparation no cleaning, no nothing!!!. Key wouldn't work in the door. No basic s like shampoo, lotion and soap was a little bar. The parking lot was so small it was drivers training just to pull out after parking. The bathroom door got stuck on the floor tiles and wouldn't fully open."

"The property was beautiful, stayed a night in cottage - 24, it has 2 queen beds a comfortable couch and sitting chair , coffee table and 4 chair and table dinette. The cottage has plenty of room, 2 flat screen tvs, heater and air worked great! Nice grounds to walk around and friendly staff. Close to town for restaurants. Excellent choice for a stay in Clearlake !"

"The pool seemed like it needed some cleaning. Pretty basic continental breakfast. Whatever cleaning supplies they are using is very strong! The price is right for what you get. "

There were lots of tiny bugs crawling on the floor and tv stand, pretty sure they were baby cockroaches as we did kill a big one crawling up the wall! Also, we did not have any hot water, front desk said that the boiler went out and to wait about 15 mins. We did and the water was still not hot.
