The Space:

Chester Cottage is a charming original kiwi bach located in the picturesque beach village of Oakura. Just a ten-minute drive from New Plymouth on New Zealand's stunning West Coast, this property offers a laid-back atmosphere perfect for a relaxing family holiday. With direct beach access and surrounded by multi-million dollar homes, the location is truly exceptional. Enjoy the local boutique shops, cafes, and restaurants that Oakura has to offer.



This older-style cottage embraces a cozy beach vibe, welcoming guests with ocean views from nearly every room. The accommodation is cost-effective, making it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher) and an open-plan living area, creating a warm and inviting space.

- Master suite on the second floor with a king bed, bathroom, and walk-in wardrobe

- Two additional bedrooms on the main level:

- Queen bedroom with direct deck access

- Twin bedroom with two single beds

- All Bach Break properties come well equipped with cooking oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, milk, cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, liquid hand soap, and body wash



Professional Cleaning:

- All linen and towels provided by a commercial linen company

- Properties cleaned to meet Ministry of Health commercial cleaning standards

- Guests are required to leave the property tidy, with all dishes washed



Extra Services:

- Noon Check-in and Noon Checkout available for an additional fee (subject to availability)

- Boost Clean service available upon inquiry

- Bookings exceeding 10 days incur a mid-term cleaning and linen fee every seven days



Please note that there is no 027 cell coverage on the Oakura beachfront, and Wi-Fi can be intermittent, making this property unsuitable for business travelers.
