Gather around the dining table for a shared banquet meal with a convenient lazy susan. Both the living room and the dining room are their respective own areas, with a separating double door should you choose to have some privacy or ambiance separation

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need — cookware, utensils, a coffee maker, and more — to feel right at home. It has a kitchen island with plenty of space for cooking preparation

🛏 Master Bedroom #1: King bed, entrance wardrobe room, TV, and ensuite bathroom, with plenty of light and shades, with private entrance double doors leading to the backyard patio

Next to the kitchen is the laundry room (In-unit washer & dryer for your convenience) and also the guest half bathroom

Upstairs, three comfortable bedrooms await:

🛏 Front Bedroom (bedroom #3): King bed, TV, and deep closet space. Some street noise can be heard, so feel free to use the available earplugs for deep sleep

🛏 Middle Bedroom (bedroom #4) with two beds (1 Twin and 1 Double size), smart TV, and large closet space

A comfortable dedicated workspace is also set up for those needing to concentrate on their work.

Double sink bathroom with a walk-in shower serving the Front and Middle bedrooms. All bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels, toiletries, and hair dryers.

🌳 Outdoor & Amenities

Private backyard patio for morning coffee or evening relaxation, with outdoor dining table with bench seating for 6 people. A large sunbrella is available to protect against the sun.

There is a carriage house in the backyard, currently closed. Feel free to ask us about using it, as we’re looking for interesting ideas!

Guests will have full access to all areas of the home, and backyard patio, except for the carriage back house, the attic, and under the house.

I’m always available by phone or message if you need help, local tips, or quick assistance—whether it’s restaurant recommendations or troubleshooting during your stay. My goal is to ensure a smooth, comfortable, and worry-free experience from check-in to check-out.

Neighborhood
Just steps from Lake Merritt—Oakland’s scenic 155-acre tidal lagoon and the nation’s first official wildlife refuge. Stroll, jog, or bike the popular 3.4-mile paved path that circles the lake, perfect for birdwatching (herons, egrets, pelicans), picnics, or sunset views. The Necklace of Lights adds evening magic.
Walk to cafés, shops, restaurants, and the lively Grand Lake Farmers Market. Groceries, parks, and everyday amenities are close by in this highly walkable neighborhood. Lake Merritt BART is nearby for quick trips to downtown Oakland, San Francisco, and beyond, with easy freeway access as well.

Getting around
Walkability: very walkable for lakeside recreation, shops and dining on Grand/Lakeshore. Public transit: multiple AC Transit bus lines run on nearby Grand, Lakeshore and Broadway; primary BART stations serving the area are 19th St/Oakland and Lake Merritt (roughly 1–2 miles away) — buses or a 20–40 minute walk link to BART. Regional connections: BART connects to San Francisco, the East Bay, and the Oakland Coliseum (Amtrak/AC Transit connections) and links to SFO via transfers. Airports: Oakland International Airport (OAK) is the closest; San Francisco International (SFO) reachable by BART + transfer. Rideshare/taxis: widely available; street parking is metered and permit/residential zones may apply — expect limited free curb parking near the lake during peak times. Bike: bike lanes on nearby streets and the Lake Merritt loop are popular for cycling.

This home is located in an urban neighborhood, so guests may hear normal city noise.
While there is no official on-site parking, previous guests and tenants have done sidewalk parking (1 sedan-size vehicle) without any reported issues for years. Use at your own risk but make sure to allow for pedestrian traffic flow. Otherwise, street parking is available nearby but may be limited at busy times of the day - generally on Lakeshore Avenue behind the property, facing the lake.
Exterior security cameras are installed around the outside of the property for the safety of our guests and the home. There are no cameras inside the house or in any private areas.
No parties or events are permitted without advanced approval. Please respect quiet hours and our neighbors.
