"I have stayed in far more expensive and fancier hotels, but this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. It was clean, the bed was super comfortable, the shower was both clean and stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The staff was friendly and competent, and the breakfast was great. It had a wide assortment of tasty options. When I'm in Oakland again, I'm staying there. And added bonus, they didn't charge extra for parking. A friend of mine stayed in downtown and was charged $50 extra to park her car at her hotel."

We found the parking rates a little excessive for the location considering we were 30 minutes outside of San Fransisco.
