"We stayed in a premium cabin overlooking the pond. It was a clean cold room that provided a great escape from the heat. The views were great from the little porch and the room was clean and very accessible. This was a great place to stay in the middle of a bunch small Texas towns and forest trails for nature viewing."

"The cabin was great! It was well stocked with everything you need for a quiet get away. We especially appreciated the coffee! The A/C worked great. Enjoyed cooking on the grill on the deck. Great Lake views. I will be back, hopefully with a little less wind in the forecast. The check-in process was great and Kevin was very helpful."

"While we had a tad issue with checking in, I was able to reach someone within 2 minutes and it was resolved. Melissa helped us quickly and was so sweet! The studio is super cute (newly being renovated), very clean and amazing location! The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Perfect for a weekend visiting SHSU!! We would stay here again!"

"Unfortunately the roof of the "cabin" that was a rv camper surrounded with wood siding was leaking due to rain. Had to leave early and rent a hotel room due to bed soaking wet. Shower was hard to control temperature of water. Unit is definitely quite and out on acre but do share with other "cabins" have to park 100 yards plus and walk to "cabin" so if you are handicap be aware. To driving to cabin, also after the heavy down pour the area was flooded and hard to walk out without soaking your...
