It`s truly an experience not just a home. Amazing One of a Kind Cabin in the beautiful Sierra Mountains-20 minutes from the south gate to Yosemite National Park and 5 min. from our charming Bass Lake. Spectacular views and amazing property with incredible rock walls plus a professional horseshoe pit.

Beautiful Rock fireplaces. Amazing rock shower. Fun bar area with a pool table to boot. Outside is just as inviting as inside - you won`t know where you want to spend your time more. You really wont want to leave the cabin once you get there. There is such a peace and beauty to this location that will keep you coming back. Decoration and furnishing match the cabin feel which makes it even more special. All open floor plan, loft sleeping with no doors and no privacy. Steep steps to get up to the sleeping area which can be challenging for some. Please note this is an original Cabin - kept up and maintained, beautiful but please come with realistic expectations.

You have access to the whole cabin and surrounding .5 acres. Two parking areas and outside sitting areas.

The loft where the beds are - are truly a ladder like step situation. It will be difficult for elderly people - doable depending upon their agility. Please take note! This is a true cabin.

Upstairs has a railing - all children need to be accompanied and watched closely.

NOTE: Stairs are steep and can be difficult for some. At the top of the stairs you have to bend down a little depending on your height. Again, this is a true cabin experience.

***We do have a new available Master Suite with King bed and private bathroom. This is in a building right next to the cabin available to rent. $130 a night plus $30 for cleaning. Please inquire for more details and booking.

We enjoy meeting new people and usually are friends by the time you leave. It`s fun for us to share Angel`s Rest with you because we believe it to be such a special and wonderful place. Peaceful and Beautiful.

Yosemite National Park
A few houses are around but very quiet and serene. You barely know there is anyone around.

Far from public transportation

There is lots of rocks and gravel around the cabin and in the walkways. Please be aware of this and make sure you walk sure footed. Especially noted for the elderly.

The cabin has heating from Wood Stove and Fireplace. Split units have been added to the cabin for heat and AC.

Please look at directions provided. The GPS takes you a different way that is more difficult.

We are not stating that 10 people occupancy is the best - it is a cabin with a loft so 10 people is a lot but some groups choose to want to stay like this. There is room for 10 people to sleep without question but this is your choice. There is only 5 beds - please note this and please do not mark us down if you choose to bring this many people to the cabin. We have tried to be extremely clear in our descriptions and should you have any questions - please do so before booking. Depending on the group you are bringing, the coziness of the cabin can be a good thing or a challenging one. Please observe our forth rightness about the number of people.

**We are on a septic, do not put food down any of the drains Nor Oils or grease. Put only toilet paper down the toilets please.

**We are also on our own well, neither services are connected to any local utilities. The septic and well is our own personal responsibility and how the cabin/bathroom/kitchen are treated, greatly affect these. Please be aware and act accordingly.
- Quiet Hours are from 10pm-7am

-No grease or oil to be poured down any sinks or toilets! A $200 charge will be sent to you if this happens. Pour ONLY liquids down the sink and absolutely NO food. Again, No Oils or Grease. We are on our own septic and well. We do not connect to any local utilities and provide these very expensive units ourselves. Please put only toilet paper down the toilet.

- All children must be accompanied when upstairs. Railings are solid but smaller children if left unattended could have issues. Please be aware and watch you smaller children closely.

- ABSOLUTELY NO Cooking with Curry while @thecabin! If this happens there will be an extra steep charge for deep cleaning that will come from your deposit!

-Please pick up all of your Dog`s messes left outside. If we end up cleaning this mess there will be a $50 charge.

- No Cats Allowed

- There is an charge of $30 for each dog you bring. Dogs allowed must be 60 lbs and under. Please message us a request about your particular dog.

-If your break or damage something please notify us immediately. You will be responsible to pay for this mis-hap.

-Please do ALL you dishes before leaving - if you wish to leave them and have us do them there will be an additional $40 charge.

-Please leave @thecabin in the best possible condition as you can when you leave. Please empty all trash and leave ALL garbage in the garbage cans behind the cabin. Additional charge will apply if this is not done.

-Please clean the stove top and oven if you have made a mess.



-If you wish to have an additional cleaning while @thecabin please notify us and we can come in while you are out and about and take care of that for you! Charge is $100.00

-Turn off all lights when you leave please.

-Leave the keys hanging where you found them and lock all doors except the slider in the kitchen, please just close firmly and leave like you found it.
