"Lovely friendly small hotel. Right in the town centre. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Slightly old fashioned and in need of an upgrade soon, however for the pice a bargain. Amazing views of the sea. Would definitely book again."

"Cant comment fully as my partner became ill and we had to return home after only 1 night , the staff were. Pleasant but our room was small and dated furniture was shabby looked like burns in the carpet, due to scaffolding outside our bathroom window could,nt be opened."

"Another lovely stay at the Manor. Staff very welcoming. Room comfortable but be prepared for old fashioned. If you want newer and more uniform, pay a lot more at the Premier inn with its scaffolding still!! I like Exmouth's old hotels they have character and offer GVFM . We didn’t have breakfast but did have food in the bar the evening before which was excellent. Book parking ahead of your stay as it’s limited. Out the front there are public spaces, but v limited."

We never were able to use our reservation and did not stay after paying in full. I called earlier in the day to confirm, and they gave me the lockbox location and code, but upon arrival by taxi (after midnight) there were no keys in the box, leaving us alone outside with no car. I’ve requested a refund from the hotel but they have not responded - I...

"What a superb gem of a hotel. Location is ideal for travelling with plenty of car parking. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was extremely good with a wide selection of continental and superbly cooked and varied hot options. Ate dinner in the restaurant and the meal was lovely. Originally booked one night travelling south and then decided to stay again a few nights later when travelling back. Will definitely be back."

"The location was brilliant. There was good equipment in the kitchen and the sitting room was comfortable with a great tv. Others have mentioned the water is a bit temperamental but it didn’t affect our stay. I think it could benefit from a deep clean. It wasn’t dirty but needed a bit more care. "
