The Space:
☀️ Perfectly situated on Oak Island. Early risers will enjoy a breathtaking sunrise and the sunsets are just as amazing from this part of the island. You will have a private access to the beach and a pool that is open seasonally. Park the car once and relax. There is so much to do that is within walking distance; fishing, supermarket, ice cream, restaurants, souvenir shop, bike rental…you name it. Need a break from the sun? Sit in the covered gazebo and listen to the sounds of the ocean :)

💻 Working from home? NOT a problem. Access our WiFi and work from the outdoor deck, Dining Room Table with a view of the water or for a more quiet experience use the dedicated workspace in the second bedroom.

Our community offers an elevator in our building only, outdoor charcoal grills, outdoor showers, a gazebo and an outdoor pool that is open seasonally. The pool typically closes at the end of September. These amenities are controlled and maintained by the HOA.

Our calendar defaults to 7 night minimums but changes based on occupancy, season and other factors. Please send us an inquiry if you are having difficulty booking or finding dates that work:)

We also have an optional concierge service that can shop and stock the kitchen and carry your bags up to the room. Please send us a message if you are interested in any of these services.

Our condo features two bedrooms.

Bedroom one has a king sized bed, ceiling fan, full private bath and smart television.

Bedroom two has two twin beds, a dedicated workspace and a smart television.

Off the main hall is a full bathroom, washer, dryer and a pantry.

The full sized kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, coffee maker, microwave and a toaster.

The living room has a kitchen table with seating for six, a queen size pullout couch, a 55 inch smart television and an electric fireplace.

Make your way to the covered deck where you can listen to the waves crash, spot some wildlife or read a book.

Feel free to use our storage closet that is located on the ground level to store your beach gear or feel free to use ours during your stay.

Fires are permitted on the beach from November 16th through April 30th with a permit that can be obtained through the town. (Check with Town of Oak Island NC website for more details)

On the grounds of the Southern Shore Villas you will find free covered designated parking, outdoor showers, barbecues and an outdoor covered seating area.

Oak Island has instituted paid parking at the public beach access spots from April 1st - September 30th from 9 AM - 5 PM. You WILL NOT need a pass to park at our condo. We are as close to the beach as you can get without getting wet! If you do care to get a parking permit you will need to check with the Town of Oak Island in person or on their website.

If you prefer to explore there are many things to do nearby.

Oak Island Lighthouse, The Point, Ocean Crest Pier, Oak Island Pier, Fishing Charters, Mini-golf are all nearby.
Southport (15 minute drive)
Fort Fisher (quick ferry ride from Southport)
Wilmington (40 minutes)
Myrtle Beach (1 hour)

Guest Access:
You will have exclusive use of this condo and seasonal use of the community pool.

The Neighborhood:
We are conveniently located within walking distance to Dairy Queen, gift shops, candy shops, supermarkets and restaurants.

Getting Around:
Park the car once and walk to beach or shops. There are bike, paddleboard, kayak and golf car rentals available right on the on the island. Note: Charging stations are not allowed here.

Other Things to Note:
The linen package which includes bedding and towels for both the kitchen and bathroom will be delivered from a third party to the front door on or before your arrival date. There will be sheets and towels for up to 4 guests. Additional guests will require and additional $25 per guest (max 2). We will provide a starter pack of laundry detergent, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, body wash and conditioner.
