    Only a short walk from the beach, you can smell the salt in the air when you arrive at SunBurns. Enjoy the ocean breeze on the partially covered front deck, rocking back and forth on beachy rocking chairs. Or, take a dip in the private pool! The outdoor shower has hot and cold water for those after the beach rinse-offs.

    Nestled in a quiet neighborhood off of East Dolphin Drive, SunBurns is a wonderful jumping off point for riding beach cruisers or taking your furry friends for a stroll. This vacation rental welcomes up to three dogs per reservation year-round and for off-season monthly rentals. There is also an option to rent the Bintelli six-seater golf cart for an additional fee of $600.

    With polished wooden floors, a stunning kitchen countertop, a large dining table and additional seating at the bar, you'll want to stay in and cook dinner with the whole family! Providing a full-service kitchen, this rental comes with everything you need to make a meal at home, along with two refrigerators for extra food storage. It conveniently includes a washer and dryer for refreshing salty bathing suits, towels and more.

    It is close to grocery stores and restaurants. Activities such as fishing, golfing, shopping, watersports and wildlife viewing are nearby––there truly is something for everyone.

    There is wireless internet access, and six televisions on the property, with a DVD player and the option to sign in to your personal streaming service. There are board games for those evenings when you want to stay inside and enjoy quality time together, with lots of comfortable seating in the common living area. Speaking of evenings, you can roast s'mores over the fire pit next to the private pool and use the outdoor park grill to prepare a feast. The options are endless!

The house could use some up fits and we had some issues with the golf cart charging correctly. Two beds were broken when we arrived, but they did quickly come fix that. The kids room never had a fan or a light, but they put a work order in, but it was not fixed while we were there. We changed the air filters on day one because they were bad. We also had to replace some lightbulbs and things that I would hope maintenance would see when checking the house before other guests arrive. The pool deck was also full of goggles and floats that did not belong to us, so it was not attended to before our arrival either.

Unwanted houseguests - do not stay here!!

We enjoyed our week at Sunburns until we were confronted with an infestation issue. We came home from dinner to a swarm of termites that were in multiple bedrooms. The termites were all over the bedroom furniture, walls, in our beds and suitcases. We had to swat and kill them and more kept coming. It was very disturbing. It took 3 calls and over an hour to the after hour agency number to get a response from someone. It was very late and we decided to pack up and drive home (3.5 hours) because they couldn’t find us alternate sleeping arrangements and this house was uninhabitable for all of our guests at this point in time. The house itself was nice and accommodated our large party comfortably. It could have used a little more cleaning prior to our arrival (multiple items under the beds and old soap bars melted to the 2 larger showers, also blood stains on sheets for the bed), otherwise we were happy with the property. Unfortunately our last evening there we came home to what became hundreds of termites in our bedrooms, suitcases, beds, and clothes. I am very disappointed with the response and outcome of this event. The outdoor areas were nice and accommodating. The pool area was fantastic (large clean pool, nice lounge chairs, clean area). Parking was convenient due to many parking spots. The grill was subpar and not usable. With the caliber of this rental there should be a nicer grill available. Walking distance to the beach was awesome.
