"We were debating if we wanted to pay extra for this vs a hotel, but it turned out to be so nice. It was very private, and had a great view of the shore (it looks sideways down the beach so you can't see out to sea, but can see water). No beach access though unfortunately. "This property is serene, beautiful, family friendly and a great place for a much needed retreat. Beautiful memories were built as our family had time to enjoy the amazing views, cooler weather and sounds of the sea. We spent most of the two full days packed with fun on the property alone (but go to the farmer's market on Saturday during the summer to buy Diane's fabulous clam chowder & Mike's amazing wooden figures). "So clean, so welcoming. All the pots, pans, etc. I would get a better coffee maker, though...maybe even a french press. It was a fantastic place for all of us. The ferry ride over to the island was a joy! And, the animal life even the 2 puppies next door seemed to be welcoming us!"

"Wonderfully relaxing and quiet. Great location. The house was very well laid out with decks and upper and lower bedrooms. Especially noteworthy was the very thoiughtfully organized kitchen with all of the necessary implements easily found. (One small item we couldn't find was a tea strainer)"

"A really great property on the water for a couple and pet or 2 couples!My partner and I loved our stay with our puppy. The walk down to the water is easy and the neigborhood is very quiet and private. A very close drive to town!The kitchen was nice to use and the ameninites were all great. Communication with Judy was easy and she was very kind. Loved staying here!"

"We booked this property to celebrate our anniversary and it did not disappoint. Wayne, Nanette and Hank, the hosts were very responsive and even left us some treats and wine as a surprise. We were! Hank greeted us, tail wagging, the minute we arrived. LolThis property has so many amenities for a lakefront cottage and we used most of them! Kayaks, paddle boards, hot tub! The kitchen was well stocked and there was even a bag of ice in the freezer! This is a property that would be amazing to visit...

"Simple yet very nice place on the island. Amazing views from the deck. Was very comfortable for a family of 4 and there was room for one more near the loft. We enjoyed our stay. Just hope the find time to repair the stairs (damaged from weather) so it’s easier to access the beach."
