"This was our second stay at this hotel and it was wonderful. It is not easy traveling with an 80lb. dog and they make you feel so welcome. The staff is super friendly, they provide a welcome bag for you and for your fur baby. The rooms are always clean, we can leave our dog in the room unattended {HUGE plus}, and the grounds are great for dog walking. The breakfast is always good too. "The only problem I had was checking out. I split the cost with my sister and only her card got charged for the full amount which caused her card to have a negative balance. Not cool"

"The property and my room were clean. Very nice furnitures and great decoration! The location was great and very convenient ; close to downtown and all historical locations . The breakfast was good. But My bed was uncomfortable; the mattress's very hard and the pillows were not good . Gladly , I had my own pillow, otherwise I would have neck ache . The lady was polite and organized but not very welcoming. I didn’t feel that warm feeling. Anyway, it was a good trip. New Bern is a beautiful town."

"We did not get the room that we booked through expedia. I can't get any money back for my suite that we booked because we went through a 3rd party. Now, I have to got back to expedia to dispute this because it was their fault. They booked a room that wasn't even available. We didn't know until we got to the hotel. We had to pay for a second room so the others could have room to sleep. They did give us a little discount but still not enough to make up for the amount we spent on the riverview...

"We were in town for an event and only had a one night stay. Everything about the Inn was a delight. We were made to feel at home by the staff from the first moment as Tracy gave us a tour of the amenities and showed us to our room. The homemade ginger cookies in the break area were yummy. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented and the fresh biscotti were a delight. Our room was comfortable and the little touches like a fresh bottle of water were notable. "We stayed for 1 night. Linda was very responsive and communication was above par. She’s accommodating when we arrived at almost midnight. She greeted us and allowed us a late check out so we could get more shut eye and a chance to walk around and explore New Bern downtown. Breakfast was superb. The dining room was well equipped with fresh fruits and brownies. I highly recommend Meadows Inn."
