"A characterful converted cow shed with roof beams, but decorated in a modern way with all you need, and a free jug of milk.The bed was comfortable, and there was a wet room shower.I could not see any way to open a window, which I would have liked, and the Wifi only worked in half the room, which I mentioned to the owner.We were welcomed and again had goodbye said to us as we left, which was friendly.We prefer a separate bed room as one of us gets up very early, but it was OK for one night.A...

"This is our 2nd time at the retreat. The location is excellent and plenty of wonderful walks around for us all. The home is clean and tidy and the owners yet next door do not interfere with you unless you need them.We rested and it was perfect for us - peace and quiet."

"A lovely warm cottage, in a great location. A little surprising we couldn’t find an information file, regarding emergency numbers, places of interest and instructions for appliances. Also no welcome pack, not even any milk in the fridge and only one toilet roll for a five day stay!! I least I always go prepared.We couldn’t report any comments as no guests book?"
