Pousadas (B&B) em Notre-Dame-du-Bessin, NOR

"Lovely place with wonderful staff. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Very clean. Only issue is that it is an old building so has noisy floors that creak. I would certainly stay here again with great value"

"Charming stay in a beautiful, classical manse in Bayeaux in the Normandy region. Though not in Bayeux town, the location is convenient for a full-day D-Day experience (my reason for visiting). The owner recommended a great place for dinner and provided home-made apricot and red currant confitures, both lovely with croissants and breads."

"Boendet ligger bra i en trevlig lugn by med bra restauranger inom gångavstånd. Värdinnan är trevlig och hjälpsam och rummet var stort och ljust. Frukosten bra. Dock lite slitet och lite stökigt i allmänna utrymmen vilket drar ner betyget något."

"A lovely old house in a secluded village in Normandy, with a few spacious rooms that have been tastefully refurbished. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is good, although I would have preferred it to be served a little earlier. The one area that could be improved is the amenities, which are almost non-existent. There was no soap, no shampoo, and very little else provided in the room. Nevertheless, the overall experience was very positive and pleasant. The location...

"Prachtig huis op een super locatie. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw die er alles aan deed om het je naar de zin te maken. Fijne kamer met alle voorzieningen, heerlijk ontbijt."

"We truly enjoyed our stay at this charming farm. The host kindly accommodated our late arrival, and the four of us had a large, room. There was also a lovely play area with a pool, and everything was clean. The best part of our stay was the private breakfast prepared by the owner. He served pasture-raised eggs collected from his chickens that very morning, along with his wife’s delicious homemade jam and the most amazing Normandy honey. Everything felt so authentic and personal—it was almost...

"My husband didn’t like having to go up 60+ stairs to our room and he found the bed a bit ‘lumpy’. We didn’t have breakfast as we left at 6.30 am to catch the ferry. Stair carpet looks tired and ready for replacement. Conveniently located for the ferry port and near to the beach front. Plenty of restaurants offering good menu choices in the area."

"Pros: Gastvrijheid was top! Elke ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt met eigen gebakken cake of taart en eigengemaakte jam. Dorothee en haar man zijn uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De fietsen die we geleend hebben fietsten fantastisch! Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad."
