"Great location. We didn’t rent a car so we walked or took the bus everywhere. Everything within Ortigia was far more walkable than we had anticipated from looking at the map. The place itself was super clean and whenever we needed the trash taken out or anything else, we simply sent a WhatsApp message. Super easy and quick communication! Nicely furnished. Because it’s bang in the middle of restaurants and all there is some noise, but we didn’t mind. "

"The only thing we would recommend for guests who are staying for a month is to offer new towels a few times per week. We loved the place for sure, but if we do it again, we may want to be on a lower floor since we are retired and my husband has knee problems. Loved the view off the balcony!"

"The apartment is in a fantastic position close to the main sights and shops. It was also off a courtyard and so was extremely quiet. The apartment is spacious with a comfortable lounge and dining area. We appreciated the kitchen with everything you needed to cook. Having a washing machine provided was great . Lastly the bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here."

"A spacious apartment, but a bit tired. Not very modern. It felt a bit dark. The location was good , but a good fifteen minute walk from the parking. Arrival was fine, the managing agent communicated clearly. The worst aspect was the fishy stink from the rubbish bins situated on the communal landing just above the apartment. It did not enter the apartment, but it was not pleasant on arrival outside each time. All in all it was fine but not wonderful."

"Perfect for ortygia getaway—-great location, excellent communication. Clean, perfect for two people. Be sure to let people know the loft bedroom means navigating steep steps and lots of them—-we are seniors in good shape but others would need to know this. And, picky, picky, we did not see a means for making coffee in the am—-That would make a wonderful place wonderfuller. Grazie!! We loved Ortygia!!!!"

"Sehr schönes Sommerhaus mit allem, was man braucht - der Pool mit den Palmen rundherum ist natürlich der Höhepunkt, aber auch sonst ist das Haus mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Zwei Terrassen, Grill, voll ausgestattete Küche. Zwei separate Wohnbereiche, folglich zwei Küchen und zwei Bäder, was super ist, wenn man mit zwei Familien da ist. Die Strände im Naturschutzgebiet Venidicari sind wunderschön mit glasklarem Wasser und zu Fuß erreichbar. In Siracusa ist man mit dem Auto in etwa 45...

Before our arrival Martina did everything to make sure that our stay will be perfect, and helped us with a lot of questions. "The property is located aside the main roads and towns. It is very quiet in the middle of the hills with a great view on the mediteranian sea and the Etna. As there are basically no neighbours one can realy enjoy very relaxed holidays here. On the property one can find herbs and spices enriching the prepared food.
