The apartment is actually in the barn, so every morning I was able to open the door and say good morning to the goats and ducks. Our apartment was awesome and very accommodating. We sat by the fire pit every night, loved up the goats, and waded in the creek, such a fun experience. You can also learn to milk a goat!Our hosts also offered classes. Goat milk soap making. "My sister and I stayed here while taking a two day class at King Arthur Baking School. The pictures don't even do it justice on how cute and well appointed the property is. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens and there were plenty of bath towels. The owners were always quick to respond to any question. We would definitely stay there again. "

"What a unique experience staying in a literal tree house. The bathroom shared with the other tree house was so wonderfully built as is the barn that it resides in. I only stayed one night and wished I stayed multiple nights. I will definitely consider staying here again for future MTB trips in the area! "

"This house is lovely, peaceful, and secluded. It’s a wonderful place to stay if you want to enjoy nature and explore the surrounding area. The only thing I would say as a word of caution: this house is not a great choice for people with very small kids or older folks. The staircase up to the bedrooms is not for the faint of heart! Also, if you are very tall, you might knock your head (a lot) on the ceiling upstairs. Besides those two caveats, this house was a lovely stay. "

"Nice bright studio in a lovely and tranquil setting. The unit is cozy and comfortable with nice little touches including several options for making coffee, a small fridge, toaster oven & microwave. Plentiful towels and basic toiletries on hand. Location is perfect, close to highway entrance and small shopping center. Gracious hosts who went out of their way (shoveling after a snow storm and ensuring walkway was accessible) to make it a great stay."

"This was the perfect place to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Woodstock was a place we frequented throughout our dating years and our marriage. This home was close to town but private. It was absolutely beautiful inside and easy to get to. The owners were communicative from the moment we booked and responded promptly with any questions. It was so easy. We were able to go into town, and come back and relax at the house. It was absolutely perfect. It was as advertised as well. There...

"This was everything we wanted and more in a honeymoon. The cabin was cozy, clean, and romantic. We wanted somewhere secluded with limited cell service (the WiFi was excellent but we switched our phones off). We were able to enjoy ourselves and our time with limited distractions. We can’t wait to return! "

Access to the Lake was a wonderful amenity and the entire property was absolutely stunning. We had one minor incident but the host was immediately responsive and helped us get everything sorted. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice getaway out in nature. "
