We had a lovely stay in this property, and the owners had thought of everything, I would highly recommend this property not only for its comforts, cleanliness, and wonderful views but for its location as it is so near to all the Broads and all they have to offer.

Excellent cottage on the river, have stayed here 7 times and will return next year. Fishing from the garden and this year saw the addition of a canoe with the property so able to do some trips up and down the river. A fabulous property that is extremely comfortable and caters for everything you need for a relaxing break. Some other welcome additions this year include additional storage space for clothes and food etc, Sky TV and WiFi for all those home comforts.

What can we say about this property that we haven't already said?
We've just completed our 7th visit - that probably says most of it!
Val has now handed over the reigns to Steve & Heather and it is abundantly clear that they are fully intent on maintaining and building upon the extremely high standards that won Val awards for this property.
We're already looking into visit number 8.
We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a stay in this area.

Fabulous cottage, would definitely return.
Steve, the owner of the property was amazing, contacted us before the trip to confirm everything and was able to oblige with all our requests. He even posted an item of clothing back to us that we left in the property.
The cottage is well equipped, modern and has beautiful views over the river Yare.
Would highly recommend to all :-)

Had our second stay at Herons view and just like last time, it was fantastic.
Had our second stay at Herons view and just like last time, it was fantastic. It is so peaceful and quiet. We spent two weeks with the best weather, we hardly left the cottage. There is always something to see passing by on the river. From boats to swans, ducks, herons. We had lots of fun fishing. We caught 4 pike this time as well as perch and bream. The cottage is beautiful. With new owners, taking over during covid 19, must have been so daunting, but Steve and Heather are doing a great job. Covid safe with plenty of cleaning products and sanitizer and regular texts making sure everything was going ok. We were reassured that if anything wasnt right or we needed anything you were there for us. We love the new changes, sky tv and the usb plugs. We had poor wifi signal, but we know that will be sorted soon and we really did need to switch off. We just wish there was an extra bed as we would love to visit with my mum, weve just lost dad and would love to take her with us. We wanted to hire a boat this time but they booked up as soon as lockdown started to lift. It would have made a perfect holiday even better. The fans provided were well used as it was so hot and we had a few humid nights. We called at the local chippy this time and enjoyed them. We drove to wroxham for maggots, we werent sure if the local hardware shop had them, but hope to call in next time we visit. Thank you Steve and Heather, im sure you are going to have great success with Herons view just dont get rid of the washing machine! Hopefully, next time we might get to meet you. Looking forward to returning in the future

Herons view was immaculate inside and out , the owner Val who lives next door was friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble and our stay was a very comfortable one with everything we could have needed. If there was one negative it would be that the WiFi signal is very poor here because it is a shared router with the owner next door .

Excellent.
Excellent. Loved the fishing. Everything you need including games, puzzles etc. Milk and flowers, thanks Val.
We had a 4 day heatwave, the fans were much appreciated, also the good torch, when we had several thunderstorms and the lights went out.
The Lodge was beautiful, the pictures didn’t do it justice. Worth every penny.

This was our 2nd year at Heron View Brundall and even though the weather wasn't as kind as 2018, at times it was really cold and wet so we appreciated the excellent heating that the lodge provided. When the sun did decide to join us we able to sit out on the decking/grass and watch all the wildlife, sailing boats and hire boats. Our host Val was as usual a charming helpful lady. With the train and bus service it was very easy to use the public transport to get around Norfolk. The Yare pub was a 10 min walk, where the staff and food was very good. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, so before leaving we have booked for 2020.

Beautiful lodge, well equipped, great location. Plenty of wildlife to watch and boats cruising past. Fishing at the end of the garden was good. Even a shed for the fishing gear and a cool box for bait! Nice garden furniture too with a small barbecue provided as well. Overall very comfortable and would highly recommend.
