I ended up with another guest and Dorothy had the pull-out couch totally prepared for my guest when we arrived. The apartment was very clean and we had everything we needed. "The location of this property is excellent. The apartment is spacious and in a wonderful location in walking distance to everything in town. There are water views across the street, and that's lovely! Inside the floors are uneven and the layout is unusual. This was fine for us but wouldn't be if I was staying more than a night or two. For instance, the silverware is not in the same room as the kitchen. So preparing and serving a meal would not be as smooth as one might expect. The real issue...

"This was a well placed home close to Mystic Harbor Museum and downtown. Very comfortable and nice open floor plan. While the description of two bathrooms is accurate it failed to state both were on the first floor with two of the three bedrooms on the second floor reached by extremely steep stairs. We were two couples in our 70s, good physical shape for our ages but found this arrangement very difficult."

"The house was spotless! We only stayed 1 night but the place is comfortable enough for a week’s stay in Mystic. Very convenient location, quiet street, and plenty of space for a family or small group. The water heater temp needs to be adjusted. The hot water gets extremely hot and I nearly scalded myself washing dishes."
