"Easy check in at this unique 1950s prefab bungalow. Enjoyed learning about history of this home from the book, pictures and other documents about Lustron on site. Plenty of nostalgia with all the modern comforts. Very clean and well stocked home. This was our first visit and will definitely come back."

"We had a great time with our family and got lots of use out of the pool and we also brought our bikes and went to the nearby park. The neighborhood is gorgeous! The only disappointment about our stay was that there was no hot water in the house, so we were unable to bathe us or our children. Not a horrible deal for us for two nights, but it would have been nice to know beforehand. "

"We had a great time staying in Ottawa, our family (14) total fit perfectly in the house, I would recommend staying in Ottawa to others."

"Beautiful scenic view of the river. First time fishing for my son, who absolutely adored it! Thank you for the host for being so generous and letting us borrow his fishing supplies. Neighbors were nice. The state park was fun to visit too. We grilled, made s'mores, relaxed, and had an amazing long weekend. Would highly recommend. "

"We had 13 women for a fitness retreat and everything was amazing. From all my questions answered right away to the welcome basket and everything provided that you can possibly think of, this place was perfect. The beds were super comfortable, the porch was the perfect coffee spot, the kitchen was stocked and everything was clean, roomy and welcoming. We hiked, kayaked and ate and drank by the river. Would come back for sure! Great hosts "

"Close to downtown Ottawa which made it very convenient for our weekend activities. The home is located next to a railroad track; there were a handful of trains that passed through while we were there but nothing too disruptive. Plenty of room in the apartment."

"The house was perfect for our blended family of 8! Sleeping arrangements went well with every one! The neighbors were friendly. Home owners were easy to work with and gave great recommendations on what parks to visit and where to eat. "

"We were disappointed in this unit. This is a very old building that needs a lot of work. The windows are filthy. The front door mats are bunched up in a pile on the front stoop. The ‘movie themed’ decor was chinsy at best. The parking area is filled with garbage, broken cinder blocks, a tire, and a junked car. There weee old shoes on balcony. The ‘landscaping’ was filled with garbage and debris. The check-in rules and regulations are extensive (requiring expensive insurance or $5,000 cash...

"I had a fantastic weekend in the cottage with my family. It was perfect because we have a few dogs and the yard was fenced in & private. Very clean and well thought out property. I really enjoyed it stay and would stay here again for sure! "

"Everything was as advertised. We did have some minor issues with the heating unit but we figured it out eventually. Also, the dishwasher did not work but we only needed it at the end of our stay. I'm sure it'll get fixed."
