"This hotel exceed my expectation for a one night stay. The hotel is newly remodel, the room was nice, comfortable and soft bedding. I had a double room, which was roomy and clean. There was a hot breakfast that was good. The staff and front desk manager Lisa was help, friendly, and made you feel welcomed. At night there was baked cookies, coffee, and tea at check in. It has a hot tub and pool but not accessible due to it being remodel. I will definitely have to return to check it out the finish...

"We had stayed at this hotel about 5 years ago and it was incredibly worn and the service was poor at best-and I swore I would never go back. I learned they had updated the hotel -so I figured I would give it another chance- as there are so few options in Evanston during parents weekend etc. Unfortunately, it was just like putting lipstick on a pig- maybe they painted and got new bedding but it is still old and dilapidated - the bathrooms are yucky.
