"There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. "

"The room we had smelled like mold and mildew the entire stay. The floor was damp and turned the bottom of my socks black. The manager said the smell was outside but that was absolutely not true and it smelled even worse in the bathroom. "This is a historic hotel, and one should expect not to have the most modern amenities. This is part of the charm! Love the original doors and flooring! We had a single room with a window air conditioner. It worked fine in our tiny room! Made to order breakfast was delicious. You choose from a limited menu, but there were plenty of options.
