"Amazing! We lived in Charlevoix 55 yrs ago as newlyweds in the Coast Guard. Husband spoke with Earl Young to rent the Half House. Couldn’t afford at 150 mo!!! ! So this was soo fun. Beach down the hill, town is walk able everywhere. It’s pretty much original so enjoy the history of it!!! We’ll be back!"

"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, modern home. The space was clean, stylish, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable visit. Although we initially had trouble accessing the unit due to unclear instructions, once we got in, everything was fantastic. We truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and thoughtful touches throughout. We’re definitely planning to come back! "

"Check-in was seamless once I found the keypad. It was dusk and I expected a keypad with raised numbers on the door. My fault! This is a lovely place to stay. The kitchen had all the essentials. Keurig coffee maker. I loved the feel of being in a log cabin! The rocks in the walls are a nice addition. My husband, a rock hound, loved the bathroom and shower floors! Beautiful and well-maintained. Pet friendly!DNR kayak and boat launch is about 5 minutes away on Torch Lake."

"We had the best family vacation at Jeff’s place. There were 6 adults and 5 kids with plenty to do for all ages! The paddle boards and kayaks were a big hit and the large game room. The water is shallow and clear right off the dock which was perfect for our kids! The sunsets were amazing! We hope to come back again! "

Would recommend leaving ac running if guests are checking in as the window ac cooled the place but took a few hours and it was close to 94 degrees out when we checked in. Would also recommend keeping a few coffee mugs for guests and doing a deeper clean of the bathroom."

"This cozy country home near Traverse City was the perfect mix of peaceful and convenient. It felt like visiting Grandma’s place. Quiet, charming, and full of comfort.We loved the spacious yard and private patio. Despite the quiet setting, we were just minutes from downtown, beaches, wineries, and restaurants. Inside was clean and thoughtfully stocked, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The host was kind, responsive. We would definitely stay again."

The place was stocked with lots of extras like a coffee bar, items for our dogs, and toys for our little just to name a few of the amazing extras. The beds were really comfortable too. " We had a great stay. House was immaculate. Had all amenities and more. Very well stocked. All beds were comfortable. Perfect for two families. The kids had so much fun using the kayaks. The backyard was an amazing spot to hang out. The price was higher than we usually spend on a vacation rental but we felt it was worth it in this case. I would highly recommend this house. "

"Beautiful view to wake up every morning! We had kids ages 14-4 and there was something to do on the property for everyone. The kids spent all day in the kayaks, on the paddleboard, swimming, and on the play set. Loved every minute!"

"We had an excellent stay . The house lay out was perfect for our family of ten , three adult couples and four children . The families with two kids each took the upstairs suite which had 4 bedrooms and two baths . Grandparents stayed downstairs with third bath . The house was well stocked with stuff you need like dishwashing detergent , laundry supplies etc . Location was great ! Short walk or golf cart ride to sandy beach. We happened to be here during a festival so were able to see the air...

"We absolutely love this little Cottage. Our favorite part was the enclosed porch. Great for drinking your coffee in the morning and watching the sunrise. "

"Quiet, cozy and clean. We spent 5 days and enjoyed every day. The lake was beautiful and it was so much fun using the kayaks. We made a fire one night, wood was available for purchase at the going area rate. Marshmallow roasting sticks were provided. "

"First of all, our host, Christine, was amazing--always responsive, accommodating, and pleasant. The property could not have been more perfect for our extended family group. The house is lovely, spacious, with so many amenities. The pool was fabulous. The private beach has kayaks and all kinds of fun things for the kids to play with. Easy transportation around the property with two golf carts. We will be back!"
