"From the moment we entered the Inn, it was like stepping back into time. We were amazed at how well preserved the property was, all while offering all of the present day comforts and amenities. We were immediately welcomed by Michael at the front desk. He was very nice and showed us around the property, and we felt at home. Our stay was wonderful, and we can’t wait to return. "

"Was double charged for the room, watch your bill when checking out, the incidental card was charged after previously paying. First time staying there a couple weeks ago they ran out of breakfast by 8:30 and didn’t replace anything, plan early if you want to have breakfast. You’re limited in Franklin though on choices."

"Room was updated and very clean. My 7 year old kept saying how good it was. With that said, the hotel is old, and might appear sketchy to some from the outside. I gave it a chance, being that it was 3-4x cheaper than things available in College Station and we literally only needed a place to sleep for 8 hours. "The building or my room was as basic as it gets. Quite uninviting and unwelcoming - as I said - very basic. You can hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms. Shower stream was very weak, but water temp was good - hot. Bathroom door was creaking For 3 night's stay - we asked for room to be cleaned only to get back and was same. Not once was it cleaned. My wife and I were left wondering if this was typical of Tru By Hilton or was it because this was near a college campus?"

"The room was 85F when entering at 11:50PM. With the AC running at full until 2AM the temperature was 79F. Staff could not get the TV remote to work. By 3AM the room was 77F and humid. Call ahead and ask them to turn on the AC or look at a different property"

"I went downstairs to ask for some more towels and other items to be taken to the room and was told they had no one on shift to bring the items to our room. I get back from running errands, about an hour and picked up the items went back to the room and it’s being cleaned. I was a bit baffled because I was told they had no one on shift."
