"Great lodging! A very short walk from the train station, and yet very quiet. Smelled fresh, very clean. Our 1 bedroom was terrific. Full kitchen, living space with couch and tall desk table. Bathroom tiny but worked for us…and so clean! Bed was comfy. Front desk person was kind and welcoming. This place was ideal for a one night stay AND would be terrific as a base for several nights while exploring the area. Easy train to Southampton, and also to Bath. Busses that go to Stonehenge. Walking...

"Thoroughly enjoyed the independence that Two Bare Feet gave me Staying in conventional hotels around the country can become a chore. Its location with its five minute walk into the city centre makes it ideal The facilities and cleanliness were second to none. Only thing to let it down is the lack of property parking but overnight parking is around £7.30 a night and is an inconvenience not ideal for everyone. That said I would recommend it and would certainly stay there again Many thanks again...

"Location was great and right in the centre of Newbury. Apartment was equipped with everything needed for a stay away from home. The room was uncomfortably hot and the small amount the windows opened and fan were no use. Our shower was totally blocked but it was sorted. Cleanliness of the apartment was not to my standard. "

"We were greeted by our host who had kindly allowed us to deposit our luggage ahead of moving into the cottage. The cottage itself is cosy and well appointed with an Aga stove in the kitchen that keeps the cottage warm. It has a small but well kept garden with table and chairs for outside dining if desired. Also parking for two cars. We took some wonderful trips in the area where many of the villages have thatched cottages. There is a post office and village shop close by and local pubs within...

"Amazing apartments … modern., clean, central location. Great facilities.. parking was fine .. I would recommend parking in the medium stay car by the car park which is free after 4pm and then at 8.30 am you can pay 5.90 for whole day and then free again after 4 and on Sundays. "I chose this property because of its proximity to Longleat and for the wonderful reviews. I add my own 5 stars as it is exactly what has been described. Several points to consider before staying is if you want to sleep in, bring an eye mask (I always carry one). There are a lot of windows but no darkening shades.
