"We visited as a family of 6 (2 kids, 2 grandparents, 2 parents). The house has been tastefully renovated and was comfortably furnished. The kitchen had what we needed for making breakfasts and lunches (we went out for dinners). The house is cozy but plenty of space for the group we had. "The hotel grounds, pool, and room all seemed clean and well maintained. All the staff are very helpful and nice. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is starting to show it age a bit but is still very comfortable and clean. The location is safe and I had no worries about my car and belongings. It's about 15 mins to the beaches to the south and about 20 mins to Newport."

"Our gathering brought back together 2 exchange students (we hosted back in 1997-98) and their own families and our 2 daughters and their families, totaling 18 persons. they all came from CA, Brazil, CO, NY and right here in RI. The house was a huge hit! Everything was as described online. More than enough of the kitchen and bathroom essentials. The young kids in our group enjoyed the yard and the carriage house. we brought plenty of things for all ages to do as well as what was at the house...
