"We rented this house for a family reunion recently. Place is great! Definitely an antique farmhouse and it has that level of charm. The property is beautiful and it fit our needs for a weekend stay. Communicating with the property manager was easy as well. That said we were not impressed with the level of cleanliness upon our arrival, as it was clear that the cleaning crew did not do a thorough job. "My stay here was perfect. The property was just as described in the listing and photo's. Keep in mind, it is an older home. Dorothy was excellent. I ended up with another guest and Dorothy had the pull-out couch totally prepared for my guest when we arrived. The apartment was very clean and we had everything we needed. "The property is absolutely beautiful. My wife and I stayed here with our three pups and it was perfect. There's a fenced in little area for the dogs with a doggy door inside and a ramp so they could go as they needed to without needing to hook them up to their leashes or carry them to the fenced in area which was a major plus early in the morning while the grass is dewy and at night to avoid the mosquitoes (because there are plenty of those.) "The location of this property is excellent. The apartment is spacious and in a wonderful location in walking distance to everything in town. There are water views across the street, and that's lovely! Inside the floors are uneven and the layout is unusual. This was fine for us but wouldn't be if I was staying more than a night or two. For instance, the silverware is not in the same room as the kitchen. So preparing and serving a meal would not be as smooth as one might expect. The real issue...

"The place was very clean and welcoming. They had a cute amenities area and slippers and toiletries in the bathroom. The only issue we had was it was extremely hot and humid and only 1 bedroom had an AC unit. The ac unit in the living room was not doing a good job of cooling the place down. So just be aware if you’re arriving in the summer time, we spent all of our time in the one air conditioned bedroom to escape the heat."

"This property was so quiet and secluded yet you couldn't be closer to the casino without staying there.I kind of wished I didn't have plans the next day, I could have stayed more nights. Very clean, very quiet on a dead end street. The host was very helpful and always easy to contact. And it was pet-friendly the biggest plus.I would most certainly stay here again when I have a show to go to at Mohegan and don't want to drive an hour home after."
