"This historic cottage was just what I was looking for: charming setting, clean home, friendly and responsive host, and easy access to restaurants and pubs nearby as well as public transportation. We toured the surrounding area (Oxford, Avebury, Cotswalds) and loved returning to our quiet little house at the end of the day. Wheatley was a great village. Thank you Jenny for being so accommodating and satisfying our specific needs!"

"While visiting nearby family, we only needed a place to sleep, shower and use as spot to keep our luggage. All of our needs were met. It is directly behind the high street, with the local pubs, tea shop, restaurants and shops a brief walk away. The host was very friendly and accommodating. There is an interesting history to the property, making it a charming place to stay."

"Manu was a great host, he was very welcoming and helpful and provided clear instructions to find the apartment, parking and how to get into the property. The property was exactly as advertised, in a great location and was spotless. Also, having tea and coffee at the property is only a small touch but has a great impact and shows Manu cares for guests. "The cottage was just perfect for a do nothing weekend. We have an elderly dog who loved the spacious garden and meadow. "Location was great and right in the centre of Newbury. Apartment was equipped with everything needed for a stay away from home. The room was uncomfortably hot and the small amount the windows opened and fan were no use. Our shower was totally blocked but it was sorted. Cleanliness of the apartment was not to my standard. "

"The apartment was very spacious and had all the required utensils etc for a comfortable stay, the apartment was clean and well appointed. The welcome pack was a nice touch and meant I did not have to go get milk when I arrived. The lounge was comfortable and the area was central but fairly quiet. All the provided linen and towels were clean and good quality, with basic toiletries provided (soap/shampoo). The negatives you have to pay a just in case deposit, this was shock and at the time...
