Great stay at old man bay. Mark provided us with everything we needed for a great trip. Immediate response to questions before and during trip. Unit cleanliness was outstanding. We stay at many vacation rentals the cleanliness at this unit was at the top. The grounds are maintained to a high standatd. Really nice unit and condo complex. View from balcony was amazing. Pool was great day or night. Lagoon was excellent for sunbathing and cooling off. This is a very private area and only for use by the 12 condo units. Most days we were the only ones in the pool or at the Lagoon. It's about 40 min drive from the airport but is worth the drive. There are a lot of activities nearby. Botanical garden was a nice morning trip. Snorkeling and sting ray city tour leaves from Kaibo Marina near rum point. Night kayaking on bioluminescent bay (great experience)leaves fron rum point. Caves about a half mile away were a little underwhelming but the restaurant there was very good. Mark has restaurant recommendations at the condo, really liked the italian kitchen.

Quiet location close to Northside

This place was great for our family of four adults. The condo was very clean and truly had everything we needed. From beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, water floats, snorkel masks, towels, and everything you need in the kitchen! The pool is clean and most often we were all alone. The grounds are well maintained. While you can see and hear the ocean I wouldn’t say you can swim. There was a lot of seaweeds even though the workers were out there cleaning. The condo is close to the caves and Rum Point but it’s about a 40 minute drive to Seven Mile beach. We prefer staying in a quiet place. Don’t hesitate to stay here! We really enjoyed our trip.

New experience on the North Side

This is our 5th time in grand cayman but our first time staying off 7 mile beach and we loved it. The condo was exactly as pictured. It was very clean and kept up to date. It had everything you would need to feel at home. We made smoothies in the ninja, variety of pots/pans for cooking, plenty of plates and bowls. Loved the large metal cups to keep our drinks cold by the pool. Tons of pool and beach accessories for hours of fun (floaties, snorkel gear, noodles). Since we rented a car (a must if you are going to stay over here) we were able to explore parts of the island we haven't before. Loved being able to drive all over but still come back to a quiet, calm and safe place. Spent many days laying between pool and beach and having the whole place to ourselves! Snorkeling right behind the condo was cool. In the rocks by the cutouts we saw a lionfish, a barracuda and urchins. My daughter even found a beautiful conch shell w a conch inside! Ww brought fishing poles so we did some early morning and evening fishing off the rocks We enjoyed seeing all the hermit crabs, lizards, chickens and iguanas! Also the condo complex is very well maintained which we appreciated. Owners were very helpful in preparing for the trip and very responsive to any questions I had.

Great condo in a great location

The condo worked out very well for our family of 5. Beautiful views of the water! We enjoyed swimming in the pool and snorkeling in the lagoon. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We grilled some meals as well and really enjoyed it. The grounds are very nice here and we loved the location. You're about 45 minutes from the action on 7 mile beach without traffic, but we liked the quiet and slower pace of the north end. Lots to do and see on GC, we stayed busy exploring and snorkeling any chance we got. Our only wish is that the condo floors had been cleaner. I did mention this to Mark and he plans to address it for future renters. Other than that, everything was great. Highly recommended!

Great Stay

The condo was very spacious and had plenty of room for the 6 of us. The kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals. The location was nice and quiet, but still close enough to get to all the action when needed. Thank you again for sharing you beautiful home

Gorgeous view

Very spacious and comfortable condo with a gorgeous ocean view. Very peaceful to sit on the large balcony and watch the ocean waves coming in. The condo complex is small (12 units) and maybe only half of them were occupied during our stay so the pool and beachfront area seemed very private. The grounds are well kept. Great communication from the owner. This is the quieter part of the island yet several nearby good restaurant choices and attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

My Wife's Favorite Vacation Rental

We've stayed at lots of different vacation rentals over the years, and my wife liked this one the best by a wide margin. Immaculately clean, spacious and quiet - right by the beach - it checked all the boxes. We also enjoyed the pool and the restaurant recommendations nearby. Just be aware that you'll want a rental car since it's about 30 minutes away from Georgetown, shopping, Pickleball, etc. P.S.: We went to the Starfish beach by Rum Point a number of times... the sea is a lot calmer there, and for some reason there is also a lot more sunshine there.

Family Vacation

The property was awesome. It was close to a lot of the activities such as rum point, botanical gardens, blow hole, St James Pedro, etc. We enjoyed the ocean and the pool. The condo was clean and well stocked. We had no problems while staying there. The owners gave us a very complete set of instructions, best places to eat, best activities, car rental places and even how to drive on left side of the road. We had a peaceful and relaxing time there. I would highly recommend staying there to avoid crowds. Love it !

Perfect Location

All of the past reviews are spot on about this property. It’s like you have your own oasis on the beach and a short drive to tourist attractions. This property is equipped with everything you need to have a great time and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Great condo in a wonderfully relaxing location

We loved our stay at this condo on the north side. The area was quiet and peaceful away from the crowds which is exactly what we wanted. It is a smaller complex so we frequently had the pool area by ourselves with the exception of some visits by little lizards and crabs which was fun to watch. The condo itself was very clean and had everything you could ask for. Mark was very responsive when we had a little issue and his team took care of things quickly. Wonderful place to stay in Grand Cayman!! Also - for little ones there is a great protected lagoon to swim or play on the beach right on the property.

Great place to stay, great location has everything

Our family had a great stay. I knew next to nothing about Grand Cayman when I booked this condo and worried a little about the location being remote. That is far from true. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, a couple right around the corner within walking distance (or a very short drive). There is a market down the street toward Rum Point and a couple of liquor stores. During our stay we had the chance to visit many places on the island and came to the conclusion that where we were staying is the best. Beautiful setting! For those concerned about the driving, the condo is very easy to get to (as are most places on the island). The roundabouts take a little getting used to, but not too hard. There are no roundabouts and occasional light traffic once you get away from the highly populated part of the island (near the airport, Georgetown, Seven Mile Beach, West Bay) The condo was perfectly stocked with everything we wanted, including beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel equipment (very nice touch) and more. It had all the amenities and everything was in perfect condition. The condo has a guest book with up to date information on the local area. We walked to Crystal Caves, took a couple of short drives to Rum Point and Starfish Point. The whole area is easy and well worth exploring.

Great condo in a great location

We had a great time here! The condo was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. All the recommendations were spot-on. For people shopping for condo, please note that the North Side is quiet and you will need a car to get to restaurants and grocery stores. Don't worry, it's easy to navigate and there's no traffic! Everything seemed super-safe and easy to access. The pictures of the condo were absolutely accurate. We were able to snorkel right off the beach in front of the condo, but the snorkeling was better if we drove a few minutes up the road to Cayman Kai beach.

This condo was perfect. The complex is right on the water and the views from the condo were stunning. The layout of the condo was perfect with tops of room. Nothing could have been better. We would definitely come back. Just as described and just what we wanted.

Beautiful property and very well kept by maintenance. Condo was recently updated nicely. The view from the patio was amazing and to hear the crashing waves was so relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely fantastic

The property and condo were amazing. Having our wedding there was fantastic. The property managers and staff were so friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to stay a little away from 7 mile beach, but still close to great restaurants and easy access to excursions. The snorkeling outside the lagoon has a nice variety of tropical fish. Can't say enough positive about this place. T
