GROCERIES, SUNDAY CLOSURES & PRACTICAL DETAILS
Nearby grocery options such as Foster’s Express and Chisholm's Grocery are about 15 to 20 minutes away by car. Larger supermarkets are also convenient stops on the drive from the airport.
Supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Cayman, though most restaurants and gas stations remain open, and some gas stations sell liquor on Sundays. Grocery items can also be pre-ordered and delivered before arrival.
Chisholm’s Market is on the Northside, and is open 7 days a week, and is well stocked with food, supplies, beer, wine & liquor. 15 minutes from the condo.
TRANSPORTATION
• A rental car is highly recommended for this area so guests can easily explore Grand Cayman at their own pace.
• Many guests book directly with trusted local providers such as Marshall’s Rent-A-Car, Andy's Rent-A-Car, or compare options through Kayak.
• Due to limited public transportation in Cayman Kai, having a car offers the greatest convenience and flexibility.

• Second-floor unit with stair access only and no elevator.
• One free reserved parking space is provided.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

Check in is any time after 4:00 PM with keyless entry; early check in may be possible depending on cleaning schedules and can be confirmed with the property manager closer to arrival.
Check out is self service at 11:00 AM, with clear instructions provided; late check out is only available if pre arranged, as time is needed to prepare for incoming guests.
SEASONAL NOTE
During Easter week, guests should expect increased local activity and a livelier atmosphere in the Kaibo Kai area, reflecting one of Grand Cayman’s most vibrant holiday periods.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the location was a big highlight. It’s an easy and enjoyable walk to both Starfish Point and Rum Point, which made exploring the area simple and convenient. That said, there was one significant drawback. A garbage truck comes very early in the morning (around 5 a.m. to 6 a.m.) several days a week, and it is quite loud—especially since it’s right outside the window. Unfortunately, this wasn’t disclosed ahead of time, and it did disrupt our sleep. On one occasion, the noise lasted longer than expected, with conversation and activity outside while the truck was running. If you’re an early riser or a heavy sleeper, this may not be an issue. But for light sleepers, it’s something to be aware of. Overall, a lovely place in a great location—just wish the early morning noise had been communicated in advance. When we asked, we told there was nothing that could be done about the noisy truck and this was the first complaint. Owners told us they are aware of this issue and expressed their empathy.

Fantastic stay
The rental was fantastic overall, I can’t think of anything negative to say. It was extremely clean and had a ton of amenities. We loved the pool and how quiet and peaceful the property was. Would definitely stay there again.

A great place to stay for an enjoyable experience in Grand Cayman. Close to Rum Point and right beside the Kaibo (a great restaurant that I have been going to for many years). The host is very responsive and helpful. Looking forward to our return in the near future.

Great location on the north side
Our family of four had a great time at the Korner Kai. The grounds, pool and waterfront were all very nice. The condo is well equipped and the complex is on the quiet side of Cayman, which we liked. We rented a vehicle and explored the entire island, but our time at the condo was just as enjoyable as the activities we experienced.

We loved how relaxing this part of the island was. We ate at Kaibo everyday and enjoyed rum point. Golf was great at North Sound. Deep sea fushing was fun but only caught 4 tuna

Perfection in Cayman at Kaibo Yacht Club
This is the perfect place on the quieter side of the island. You are close to Starfish Point, Rum Point, and the Bioluminescent Bay. You've got a couple local restaurants at Rum Point and Kaibo with fresh coffee just a quick walk down the beach. I would highly recommend this location and unit. We'll be back.

A wonderful vacation in Grand Cayman
Excellent location away from the crowds yet still convenient to many attractions. Starfish point is close enough to access by kayak. The pick up point at Kaibo for boat excursions is a few minutes by foot. The pool was clean and in good condition. The condo had everything we needed for the week!

Beautiful property
Access to a spotless beach just outside, pool and starfish point a short walk away. Full kitchen was great and it wasn't missing anything, even had some basic spices so we didn't have to run for anything. Only complaint is that GPS didn't take us to the right spot (was about 2 blocks away) but I don't think much can be done about that

Corner Kai was a corner of paradise
Condo was perfect for our family of 5 to enjoy the beautiful island! It was clean with abundance of extras from beach chairs, coolers, towels, sand/pool toys, games, and more! I especially appreciated the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which saved me from having to pack these things. The kitchen was stocked with essentials. Patio furniture was a bit uncomfortable but not a deal breaker! Our teenage daughter slept on the pull out couch and said it was very comfortable. The location is in a nice quiet area which we very much enjoyed but it does require you to have a car and expect to drive a bit to really explore the island.All and all we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful!
The condo was large and had everything we needed to have a great stay. The kitchen was fully equipped which was wonderful since we cooked everyday. I loved sitting on the screened in porch drinking my coffee in the morning. We had access to a canoe which the boys used to paddle over to Bioluminesense Bay. The property was well kept and staff responded quickly to our questions. Easy check in was a plus.

Wonderful, clean, fully stocked condo!!
This was our first time staying on the north side of the island, and the condo was just perfect for us. It was nestled in a quiet, private area with waterfront ocean access. It was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with everything our family needed! The communication was easy and quick with any questions we had! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful stay! I loved the patio area and that it was screened in providing protection from the mosquitos! Would definitely stay again!!

Great condo in quite area
Loved our stay. Ocean front and next to Kaibo restaurant where we enjoyed several meals and cocktails.
The condo was so well stocked from towels and coolers for our time on the beach, to the kitchen. So many rentals are stripped down to only the bare essentials, while Korner Kai was well stocked throughout. Including basic spices so you could actually prepare a few meals. Host suggested we order groceries to be delivered upon our arrival which was a great suggestion.
Would absolutely stay here again when returning and choosing the quiet and more affordable side of the island.

Corner Kai Paradise!
Our family stayed at the property for week and had an amazing time. We were not sure which side of the island to stay but after spending some time here we were so pleased with our choice. It was quiet , peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of the west end. The property was perfect for our family. It was well equipped with everything we needed and more. We enjoyed having quick access to east end as well. Having the Kaibo yacht club was an added bonus. We walked over for food and drinks several times and were treated to life music on several occasions. There were several tour boat based out of the yacht club so getting to depart lure spot was a stress free few minutes walk. The beach was clean and well kept with very peaceful bay and opportunities to snorkel for our kids. The pool overlooking beach area was hard to beat and never too crowded. If we were ever to return to the island we would not hesitate to stay here again. Lots of great memories were made.

Lovely, Quiet Spot
Our stay at Korner Kai was wonderful. The condo is very well appointed and had everything our family needed during our stay- a fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, snorkel gear, beach chairs and an umbrella, coolers, and books and games. The condo was very clean. Our balcony overlooked the small but beautiful beach and it was an easy walk right outside our door to the beach area and community pool. There were always enough beach chairs available. The property manager Melinda was very communicative and accessible. There is not much going on on this side of the island, especially with the Rum Point restaurants being closed, so I would suggest renting a car to be able to easily explore the rest of the island. That being said, it is possible to book excursions that pick you up at the dock right in front of the property, and there is a beach restaurant and coffee shop right next door.

Beautiful and quiet location!
Everything was as described in the condo! Our family of 4 enjoyed a wonderful week at Korner Kai. This was our first time in Grand Cayman and we were really glad that we read the reviews and selected this less busy and more quiet location. There was always a chair on the beach or at the pool available. We went out for a nighttime hot tub several times and often we were the only ones there. The condo was well stocked and had everything that we needed to cook in several times. There were plenty of beach towels, a couple of coolers and extra snorkels (although one was broken). It was also great to have the Kaibo Club nearby although we just ate there twice. Rum Point is also very close (1 mile) and was a nice spot to check out another beach and have a cocktail at the bar. We also took our snorkel masks to a sandbar at Rum Point and saw several stingrays.Communication with the property management team was clear and easy. They went above and beyond to make sure we were all set. For example, when we arrived in the late afternoon we noticed that there wasn’t a drip coffee pot (only a Keurig) and we hadn’t bought any Keurig pods. I contacted them and they had housekeeping bring a coffee pot later that evening. Also, we ordered groceries from Hurley’s ahead of time since we arrived on Christmas Eve and property management handled the delivery seemlessly.If we return to Grand Cayman, we would definitely consider staying here again!

Amazing Vacation in Paradise
My family came down to visit Grand Cayman and decided to stay at Cayman Kai. It was my wife and I visiting with our girls that are 4 and 6. It was an amazing vacation. The condo worked great for us. It had everything that we needed, plenty of towels, beach toys, chairs, books, and games. The two beds for the kids room was very nice. We were so happy to have two rooms and plenty of space.
The complex was not very busy at all. We had many morning with the pool to ourselves. We would wake up and walk the beach to look for starfish. We would also look for fish from the docks. We didn’t swim in the ocean much in front of the condo but we were in the pool a lot.
This side of the island was much quieter and very relaxed. We did make the drive to seven mile beach many days as it is just beautiful there. But the leave at Cayman Kai was worth it.
We were not huge fans of the Kaibo Yacht Club for food next door. It was very expensive and food was just OK. On this side of the island we really enjoyed Tukka, Over the Edge and the Caboose. We found the Caboose restaurant at the end of our trip but wish we would have found it earlier. Not fancy by any means but great local food. Get the coconut curry grouper.
Starfish point is a short walk or drive to watch the sunset and relax in beautiful water.
We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back. Thanks so much!

Great location, set up, communication
Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Korner Kai. The property is such a nice set up, with the beach and pool right on property. The complex is a decent size but small enough that there is no problem getting chairs on the beach or at the pool, and you can run right back to the condo for anything else you need. We stayed over spring break and Easter weekend, so there were many locals at the public beach right next door. That was no problem, as they were never loud and the condo complex even hired security to ensure no one wandered onto our beach or parking that wasn't supposed to. We always felt very safe. The location on Kaibo is really nice, next to the coffee shop and Kaibo Beach Grill, very convenient and close to Starfish Point and Rum Point.
The condo had everything we needed, including beach chairs, cooler, pool floats, sand toys, flippers. There were even games and books. Wifi and TV worked great, lots of US channels and DVDs provided. The laundry machine was convenient, and dish washer, as well as all the kitchen items that we needed. Grills are on site for use. There is a shed with some things stored, but we didn't really use anything in there.
Communication with the property company was great. We received information well in advance of our trip, and received texts from our contact upon arrival to ensure we were able to get inside. We had no issues so we never needed to reach out for any help, but they were always just a text away.
