Harry, you rented a dry cabin with access to a shared shower house. That means no water in the cabins. That’s why we provided a pitcher of water for your coffee. If you had read that before you booked, I think you would of been happier. We’re trying to give the Alaskan experience, and I know it’s not for everyone. I’m sorry you did not enjoy the experience.

Franklin, I’m sorry that you booked the wrong cabin. I tried to rectify the situation by calling the other guest that had the other twin cabin. She was on the flight and couldn’t respond. Well, when she got here, she had her nephew, so she couldn’t switch the queen cabins for her twin cabin. I’m I could not help you and that you did not enjoy your stay.

I no longer offering wake up calls or knock on door especially when you were here it rained all night so no aurora available. I agree the wiring on the outside of the cabin could be buried closer to the cabin. As far as the breakfast is concerned we no longer offering breakfast made at the house because my manager has no immunity. So we no longer do breakfast . As far as one bathroom with a musk smell , I got a new housekeeper yesterday and I got rid of the one who wasn’t doing a good job. And I just did a inspection of cabins and shower house. As far as the mattress length those are twin memory foam mattress standard size.

I’m sorry you didn’t realize that you would be staying in a dry cabin. That means no plumbing. We do have pitchers of water in the refrigerator. The exposed insulation is called chinking. That lays down in between the logs so the wind and cold can’t come in. All wires have to be exposed because you can’t get in between solid log walls. Most cabins have plywood floors. I am sorry that this was all a surprise to you. Cabins are not for everyone. I do hope you found some beauty while you were here.
