Before speaking with you about your brother's wallet, our Front Desk Associate and Director of Housekeeping searched your room, inspected the Suite Attendants cart, and Associate themselves as best they could. After we spoke, I too followed the above steps and didn’t find the missing wallet. As it isn’t uncommon for guests to call about a missing item(s), they thought they left in the room but found it elsewhere in the hotel after viewing the Guest’s movement on security cameras that evening/morning. It was our hope this might be the case, but unfortunately it was not. Occasionally personal belongings are entangled in the bedding and are discovered as laundry sorts through the linen. I asked our team to ensure all the laudnry from earlier that morning to rule out this being a possibility. Our entire team was made aware of the situation and asked to be vigilant in looking for it while working. After completing the above steps, I returned your call as promised confirming we were not able to find a missing wallet, or anything that may suggest theft. I can only imagine how I would have felt had I been in your shoes, and this is why I offered to transfer/provide the phone number to our Police Department to file a report.
