Prós: O quarto é super espaçoso e o banheiro também! Cama e chuveiro muito bons. A área da piscina bem agradável e a praia de frente ao hotel é praticamente privativa e maravilhosa. O hotel oferece toalhas, SUP, caiaque e snorkel. A localização é muito boa, com acesso rápido a bons restaurantes e praias. Contras: As torneiras do banheiro são péssimas, pouco funcionais, difíceis de abrir e fechar. Os funcionários fazem muito barulho na área da piscina, conversando alto e fazendo barulho e nunca colocam alguma música agradável, as vezes um som alto de televisão com jogo (desagradável). O restaurante não possui opção de sobremesas e o café da manhã nunca tem os itens do cardápio, somente uma ou outra opção, não tem fruta, iogurte, o que nos obrigou a tomar café da manhã em outros lugares. A comida é boa, mas poderiam oferecer opções de sobremesa e ter os itens do cardápio disponíveis. Em geral um excelente custo benefício em Eleuthera.

This hotel is part of paradise. What a views on a pink beach, a pristine and very clean swimmingpool and, most important, a very friendly and dedicated staff. The rooms are big, clean and very luxurious. The bathroom is also spacious and modern equipped. We had a dreamlunch right on the beach. The perfect place to make instagrammmable pictures!

Pure Bliss!!! When asked how was my vacation and stay at La Bouganvilla. The property, the staff and service from checkin by Tyler first impression was calm and easy going...we felt right at home. A few staff members that deserve accolade indeed are Tyler, Justin , Eugene,Precious and Mo. Each of these staff members provided something unique ,and a personal touch of hospitality that made my birthday getaway wonderful. The food, the beach, the room...WELL DONE Bouganvilla!!!

We loved our stay at La Bougainvillea Hotel. Perfect accommodations. The staff is lovely and friendly. We had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious. We rented a car and tried other restaurants. We were consistently impressed with the delicious specials and cuisine right there on the property. And ... the beach. We basically had a perfect oasis to ourselves for a week. Absolutely perfect and beautiful. We'll be back.

We had a most wonderful week, spoiled by nice and super friendly staff. Food is delicious and goes for higher standards. The restaurant is situated beautifully at the seaside. The room at the terrace was neatly designed, the bathroom equipped with a big shower. Overall we can highly recommend this little jewel on Eleuthera Island. Thanks folks!!!

Our stay
We very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel was wonderful and the restaurant was delicious. The staff was very pleasant to deal with. My only regret was that we did not have an ocean front view, but other than that I would definitely recommend this place, and hopefully we will go back.

This resort was wonderful and worth the extra travel to get there! We loved that it was so private and small. We were there in the off season and were lucky enough to have only 1 other couple there for a majority of the time. The food and drinks were delicious with great selection. Our room was cozy and comfortable. The staff was incredible, from being greeted by Lewis and all of the recommendations that he gave us for while we were on the island to all of the wonderful service given to us by Ziggy during our meals. The resort was beautiful with lots of place to lounge and the beach and pool were also fantastic.

This location is amazing! The hotwl is absolutely gorgeous and the view is second to none. The beach is as good as you can get, barely makes it worth leaving the place for any other attraction on the island. It's only a few minutes drive from town and other restaurants, but the one on site is great. Staff was super nice and rooms, pool and amenities were just perfect!

The property is pretty and secluded. Food and beverage staff are friendly and helpful. Massage on beach was great. Biggest issue is that this property has no generator! We had no power and water (for nearly 2 days) and no Wi-Fi for nearly 4 days. Up the street other places were working fine that had planned appropriately. Property needs a generator and a sense of urgency / concern for this. Could not contact family members unless we left the property.

This property is as beautiful as the pictures show. My only gripe would be the cost of food and beverages. Otherwise, the property delivers a relaxing, private getaway. Perfect for honeymooners. Shout out the the staff...Julian, Tenille, Ziggy, Kia, JoJo, Chris and all those behind the scenes who helps make for an amazing birthday celebration. This property is picturesque, quiet, and relaxing! I look forward to returning soon.

Our stay here was amazing. The beach and water is some of the prettiest I’ve seen. The hotel is beautiful. The staff was amazing, especially Kia, Christopher, Jo Jo and Chris. The lady chef was fantastic. The General manager, Jillian and the concierge Tannile (not sure of spelling) made sure we were well taken care of. Can’t wait to go back.

Paradise all to ourselves!
We spent a perfect week at La Bougainvillea. The staff was extremely attentive and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Even with a tropical storm coming, they made sure we were comfortable and safe. The beach is pure perfection. Not another person in sight. We had miles and miles of turquoise waters all to ourselves. The pool is the perfect way to end the day, along with a cold cocktail from the bar. The Boathouse was a lovely villa with a full kitchen just a few steps away from the beach. Highly recommend!

Fine new hotel with some room to grow
La Bougainvillea is a nice place to stay, and it seems like it's on a good path but it's not as polished as it should be for the price. On the positive side, this hotel has a beautiful beach, a pool, a fashionably designed lounge with games, a popular (if overpriced) restaurant, etc. The service is extremely friendly too, but not necessarily super thoughtful - for example, you might ask someone on staff where to find a beach towel and they'll say, "They're usually over there but they seem to have run out" and then walk away without actually helping you find a towel. It's a small thing but it's emblematic of a gap relative to most 4-star hotels that shows up in other places too, e.g. rickety fixtures, wifi that doesn't reach the rooms, a $30 fish wrap that's drenched in sauce and doesn't have enough fish in it to justify the price. Again, all small things, which may well improve with experience and a little more attention to detail. For a new hotel, it's off to a good start, could easily be a great hotel in a year or so.

Five Stars for this beautiful beachfront boutique!
We couldn't have picked a better place to take a much needed couples vacay ! We have traveled around to many of the islands . In our opinion, nothing beats Eleuthera ! La Bougainvilla is one of the nicest boutique resorts out there ! The beach is breathtaking , water is as clear as glass. The food at the resort was scrumptious ! We never had to leave ! Tom and staff were very accommodating to our needs. We will definitely be returning ! Love this place !

Beautiful hotel. Owner was on hand all the time and very attentive and welcoming as was the rest of the staff. The hotel was amazingly 10 footsteps from a stunning beach. Beautiful pool. Delicious restaurant and drinks, though a bit pricey and limited options but standard for the island. This is a good place to stay if you just want to relax and not have to be on the go for a few days. Fly into Governor's Harbor airport, as the North Eleuthera airport is over an hour away. Also could be good to rent a car $80 a day and explore the island. They bring the rental to the hotel for you.

My husband and I rent out two properties on VRBO so we have very high standards. That said, La Bougainvillea exceeded all our expectations! We were greeted with Bahama Mamas by the most accommodating and gracious staff EVER!! Everything was absolutely perfect! I just can't say enough about this lovely place. The photos don't even do it justice. We'll definitely be back!

Complete perfection in paradise
Oh my goodness if I could give this hotel a 100 starts I would do! It is simply perfect. Our room was large spacious and with a fabulously comfortable bed we overlooked the ocean. Every detail was taken care of and as the staff said to us they wanted us to feel at home and we did. Lovely outdoor space to sit and relax tables and chair as well as a large day bed. Fantastic infinity swimming pool and super loungers then further loungers over looking the sea. A few seconds walk to the beach which again is simply stunning and unspoilt. The food is exceptional. Excellent choice and their French chef always has daily specialties. I honestly cannot fault this hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough. I have to thank Thomas (owner) and Kezang (manager) for giving us the most perfectstay in paradise.
