"I had a wonderful experience here. They were very accommodating to me and my Girl Guide Unit. The staff was very understanding and helped me out when needed. There was an issue trying to get ahold of the front desk on the one day (over 1.5 hours to get a hold of anyone - we called & went to the counter & no one was around. And there were a bunch of people wanting to check in). Breakfast is the basic free breakfast, but it hit the spot to get us going. I would say being there early because...

"The location and area are wonderful. The property COULD be a gem, but it is in terrible disrepair. The house inside, while perhaps not outfitted for people who cook a lot, is decent. But when we checked in, the exterior was a shambles. Grass half cut and lawnmower left on the sidewalk, gardens not weeded or cared for, pool cold and dirty, hot tub not working, and not clean, no propane tank for the bbq, the dock in disrepair to the point of being dangerous. "This is an amazing venue and the staff are outstanding. The restaurant is absolutely phenomenal. All in all I will always stay in this facility when I stay in a hotel. And will encourage friends and family who come to visit to stay there too. View is magnificent. "
