Palmetto Dunes 205 is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath 2nd floor walk-up located at 1011 S. Ocean Blvd. North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582 in the Crescent Beach section. Upon entering, you abruptly observe the soothing and soft blue accents throughout this nonsmoking oceanfront condominium from floor to ceiling! Your accommodations include a master suite with a king bed, attached full bath and balcony access. The second bedroom has two twin beds and comforting d'cor to keep you calm and collected during your North Myrtle Beach vacation. Attached is a half bath. The third bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and a full bath just around the corner. This is a non-smoking unit.

An immaculate, fully stocked kitchen is available for your use with plenty of utensils, flatware and appliances sure to assist you in all of your cooking endeavors. The elegant dining room closely follows the kitchen with dazzling lighting above the dining room table. The living room is oceanfront with an outstanding view of the ocean and a large TV for your entertainment while you lounge. Attached is an oceanfront balcony for your ocean viewing bliss. A stackable washer and dryer, telephone, WIFI internet access, 4 TVs, 4 VCRs and several DVD players are all included for your use.

The undisturbed and at peaceful Palmetto Dunes property puts the spotlight on wholesome fun with its large sunning deck and expansive outdoor pool. Don't forget to check out the beautiful crashing waves as you swim your way to leisure in the glimmering swimming pool. Plenty of outdoor seating is also available at your North Myrtle Beach vacation rental.

Palmetto Dunes North Myrtle Beach via Seaside Vacations

The pictures on Vrbo made this oceanfront condo seem a LOT larger than it actually was. But it did list all the amenities correctly. There were 3 beds and 2.5 baths. We loved the screened in deck overlooking the ocean! It was in need of some TLC, some peeling paint and ceiling in rooms, outdated appliances, and the outdoor area wasn't well maintained. The parking lot for residents and guests was small, way too small for our huge SUV. Location was perfect, close to everything yet not too crowded.

Family Vacation

Had a wonderful stay at this awesome location! Great pool with lots of shade and easy access to the beach. Had a problem with the shower head and dishwasher property manager was very prompt and repairs were made the day they were reported. Will definitely look to rebook here had a relaxing week.

Seaside vacations/palmetto dunes

Overall great experience. My only complaint was that the property wasn’t ready when we arrived at almost 4 pm and the original email said check in was 3-5pm. After driving 8 hours, I did not want to wait on our room, and the wait was minimal after complaining. The property was nice and maintenance does a great job

Fantastic location but could use some updating

Location is wonderful, parking lot is horrible if you have a longer vehicle. I had a hard time getting my mini van in and out of spots.

Perfect spot

This was my first time using vrbo and it was a great experience. The host staff was very helpful and their customer service was outstanding from reservations to checkout. The unit was clean and in a perfect location. We would definitely stay there again.

Myrtle Beach Stay 2022

The property was a very nice and clean. The parking lot is a tight fit for oversized vehicles so please be aware of that. The pool area was maintained daily and that is nice to have. The location is a quiet one and that can be important if you were looking for a more laidback experience. The beach access was easy and not crowded at all. The only area that needs to be looked at was the fan in the bathroom smelled like burning when it was turned on and the fan didn’t run. Also the water heater pipe in the main bedroom needs to be secured because every time the hot water was turned on the pipe would jump so hard and bang the wall it woke us us a few times. Outside of that it was a beautiful property and would recommend staying there!

Girls weekend

Property was overall clean and location was excellent as it was very easy to get down to the beach. The narrow steps were tough taking heavy luggage and coolers and the bedspreads may need a wash but overall a great stay!

Labor Day Weekend Family Getaway

Property was extremely poorly kept. A deep cleaning was necessary. Found a cockroach in kitchen early one morning. Ran a white towel across floor to clean it and towel came up black. Will not stay here again or recommend to anyone.

Beautiful view

We had a great time at this location. Check in was quick. The walk to the beach from the condo is perfect. Dishwasher wouldn’t work so we called and the guy came right out but then on the last day it broke again. Property does need some serious updates. We had family that stayed in another condo in the same building and theirs was gorgeous. But over all the beach is what we went for and it was perfect!

Unit was as described with great view of ocean. Building needs some maintenance. Pool was closed the day we arrived and never opened all week. Contacted property management several times but never got an explanation or reason. Property manager never bothered to get back to us. Pool was completely green when we left.

Great View!

The condo had an amazing view of the ocean and we loved being just steps from the beach. It was a very nice condo but the beds were literally the worst I had ever slept on in my life, which everyone agreed on. We were all sore every morning and almost dreaded going to sleep. The parking is also somewhat of an issue. Very tight quarters and you are not allowed to back in to parking spots which is very impractical. Also, no mopeds or golf carts allowed. These are things we wish we would've known before booking. Overall we were still pleased with our stay.

Highly recommend for families

We had a late check in and trying to get into the lock box was a bit of a pain but after many tries I got our keys. We got to the condo around 930-10 and were exhausted from the 9+ hours drive. We didn't have lights throughout half the place on arrival - explained later. The beds were made and set up perfectly for our large family. The twin beds housed 2 of our girls (ages 4 & 5), the queen slept 2 more (ages 3 & 6) and the toddler (2) didn't beat us in our sleep in the giant king bed. The next morning we called Seaside and they had Mike, the maintenance man, come up to figure out what was going on with the lights, as well as point out other issues - such as the fact that entire middle cushion of the back of the couch had been ripped apart, and there was a hole in the back of the master bedroom door, and several water spots, along with the garbage disposal that backed up and made Mike come out a second day. Mike was awesome and a complete gentleman... he deserves a raise. He also knew most of the damage was present already. My best friend drove out cause it was my 30th birthday and she slept on the pullout. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us. None of us were on top of each other. We all had a place to escape. No waiting on 1 person to get out of the bathroom. Stepping out onto the balcony to feel the morning air, hear the waves crashing (which you could hear through the closed windows in the master and living room anyways), and being able to just relax and feel at ease, made the entire stay perfect. I highly recommend for families of small children because, even though there are a couple safety hazards (the chandelier chain against the wall, and the old wiring coming off the wall), this place is amazing! The neighbors were friendly. The washer and dryer kept up with 8 no problem. The kitchen cooked and cleaned perfectly. The walk to the beach was easy on the kids and us. Will try to book again in the future.

Amazing view and location!

We absolutely loved our time here. If you want to be close to the beach this property is for you! You are steps away from the beach. The view is just like in the pictures. In any part of the common space you are surrounded by a panoramic view of the ocean. The property was very neat and clean. The kitchen has any dish, pot or pan you could ever need. For six it was plenty of space. You are also in an excellent location very near to grocery stores and the tanger outlets (we Ubered there for $13 each way). The only cons I would say is parking is a bit tight and it’s on the second floor with no elevator so hauling everything at the beginning and end of your trip is a bit of a chore, but totally worth it! I can’t comment on the pool as we didn’t go since our girls are in love with the beach and we were there for 4-6 hours everyday. But you are close enough to see your family on the ocean and it isn’t a big deal to run back for drinks/snacks. We spent our evenings just sitting on the screened in porch and listening to the ocean. Highly recommend staying here. It was beautiful!

Palmetto Dunes

Before coming, we asked to reschedule our reservation due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Reports in our home state was there was an outbreak, things were closing, and our own state was urging people not to go. This prompted my husband’s employer to threaten quarantine without pay for two weeks when we returned. When I contacted the company, they did not give us any hope of a refund or coming at a later date. They told us the numbers were from nursing homes and antibody testing. Unable to sacrifice money, we came anyway, and tried to take precautions. The condo was not very clean. We wiped down everything to ensure cleanliness regarding the pandemic. Floors were not clean, counters were not clean, and the overall cleanliness of the condo was lacking. The ice machine did not work properly and we had to buy our own ice. The kitchen was equipped with random items, and the apartment was half updated with other parts needing renovated. The pool was closed due to COVID 19, then opened for one day, and closed again with a sign saying “by order of the governor.” Both pools on either side of the building at other condos were open though and open the entire stay. We were not pleased with no refund or change in dates due to a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. There needs to be something in place for other families like us. We were not pleased with the pool being closed because we were told by your staff- it’s only media blowing it up, nursing homes and antibody tests. We were not pleased with the cleanliness or non updates of the condo. The location and screened in porch were the best parts for us.
