"Our reason for staying here was not because we were interested in the Sugarloaf Mountain area, but because it was the only hotel we could find for that night of our trip. ~ So, I would recommend it to anyone interested in all that Sugarloaf Mtn. has to offer. It's a beautiful hotel. We at dinner at the "45 North" restaurant located in the hotel because we didn't want to drive around looking for somewhere else, BUT order was very tasty, especially for the prices. ~ We didn't use any other...

"Proximity of the property to the lift and fitness center was ideal, walking distance to both. The major downfall is the 58 steps it takes to get to the unit itself. Definitely a difficult scenario after skiing all day or carrying belongings up. Would have been nice if there was access to the dumbwaiter. Overall a nice place."

"Owner is very nice. Room was newly renovated and had a nice kitchen. Fun lounge and game room. Easy load in and out. They had Carrabassett Coffee company for the room too and sold toothbrushes in the office! Beds were so-so for comfort but overall a great stay."

"We reserved this for my wife’s 50th, and it worked perfectly for us, our dog, and our friends. The weather wasn’t cooperating, but it didn’t matter. We found ourselves more than happy to cancel plans - this is a great house to get “stuck inside.”The kitchen is fully stocked, we prepped most of our meals here. The living room is super cozy, and the loft turned into a girls sleepover. We loved the hot tub and our hound loved the deck.The short trip to saddleback can’t be beat!"

"The cabin is a classic Maine camp with updated, modern amenities. We were very comfortable even over a rainy weekend as the place is cozy and the sauna was an added bonus! We would stay here again when in the Rangeley area. "

"Marie is a fabulous host. the location is perferct - right across from Haley pond where there is FREE ice skating (including rentals). Short drive to Saddleback Mt. THis is our second time and will be back. "
