"We had a great time here. It’s close to Abingdon, Damascus, and the Creeper Trail. My wife went down and had a wonderful time kayaking on the water with her kayak. The kitchen had everything we needed and the Blackstone was a hit with the kids for multiple meals. Looking forward to returning!"

"The cabin is a wonderful step back in time with up to date conveniences……I especially liked the kitchen faucet. It was clean and we had everything we needed. The location is very quiet and peaceful. The deer, the chipmunks, the birds….. a truly wonderful place."

"My husband and I stayed two nights in the cabin while in the area for the Grayson Highlands 50-mile trail race. The cabin was so cute and cozy, clean, just as pictured. Incredible mountain views from the front porch and the hot tub, both of which proved key to my recovery the following morning! We cannot have had a more pleasant day, and would return here in a heartbeat when able. Such a gem. Thanks to the hosts for making it available."

"This home had room for our children and grandchildren. The wraparound porch was amazing, the views were stunning, the July air was cool and refreshing. The house was immaculate when we arrived and had everything we needed, even a high chair! There was plenty of adventure nearby, but we mostly enjoyed being together in this home."

"We loved everything about this house! It sits on top of a hill with a huge dining window overlooking the valley and mountains in the distance, with blooming rhododendrons and a visiting hummingbird drinking from the feeder. It was quiet and peaceful and the kitchen was the best-stocked kitchen out of any of the probably 30 houses we've rented on vacations. It is a distance from anywhere and there are no local stores if you forgot something, but that was the only downside. We were close to...

"The best part for us was the quiet, privacy, and view that allowed us to relax. The cute cabin was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of linens and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked. The two porches had an amazing view. The walk down to the lake on the well-constructed stairs and landings to the dock was a hidden gem. We even caught some fish and would like to return again."

"We stayed here on our family vacation. The house was amazing. There were 6 of us staying there and more than enough room. We found so many things to do from the kids playing in the river, fishing, or just relaxing on one of the decks. I couldn’t recommend a stay here enough. Thank you again!!! "I stayed for the week while my daughter was at a camp in E&H. This is the place if you’re into hiking or biking. The cabin has a wonderful deck, spacious livingroom, comfy beds and all the kitchen supplies.There were even snacks!!"
