Great place and very walkable to groceries, coffee, and local stores. The house was nicely equipped with kitchenware and even fire wood for the fire pit!

Perfect Location for a Trip to Gore
Great spot for a ski trip to Gore mountain! The home was cozy and located in the perfect spot! The home is right around the corner from Tops and several restaurants, and just a 5 minute drive to Gore. The home had a nicely stocked kitchen which made cooking easy. Would definitely return!

Adorable little cottage!
We enjoyed our stay here- it was cute and comfy. We came to town for a rafting trip and had a fabulous time. The pictures you see are exactly what the cottage looks like. The host responded quickly to my questions. She provided coffee and firewood- and there were plenty of towels for all of us to shower after our day on the river. We enjoyed chatting by the fire at night and having coffee on the back deck in the mornings. We will totally stay here again if we come back to raft the Hudson.

The house was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the deck, grill and fire pit. The area around the fire pit would be greatly improved if it was leveled out. Location to town was very convenient.

Great stay
The home was in a perfect location...super close to Gore Mountain where we were skiing. It was clean and well stocked. We especially enjoyed the deck and barbeque area. We would definitely stay here again to ski at Gore.

Good ski house next to Gore Mtn.
I stayed at this property with my husband and 2 children- ages 7 and 10. It was perfect for us. We wanted a place that was close to Gore Mtn- it’s just 5 mins away. It has a nice kitchen so we could cook breakfast and dinners. There are plenty of places for people to sleep- bunk bed room can sleep 4 and the loft has two small beds. The master has a Queen. The owners were responsive and helpful and the place was clean. You can fit 1 car in the driveway. The living room is smaller than in the pictures- we spent most nights playing games at the dining table. This is a good spot for skiers- the town is quiet- so not much to do apres ski, which worked fine for us. Thank you for a great place to stay!

We felt very comfortable here. It’s obvious the owners care about the property and their guests, with recent improvements to the kitchen and bath and many little touches and basic supplies. It was a quick walk to the grocery store and a couple cute shops on Main Street. The hot water baseboard heat was super comfortable too. They responded quickly and personably to questions.

Amazing get-away
This property was absolutely perfect for our family ski weekend! Minutes from the slopes, easy to access, clean, well-equipped, toasty warm despite the negative temperatures, and with wonderfully responsive and considerate owners and caretakers! Driveway was shoveled when we arrived despite an 18 inch dump that evening. We wish it hadn’t been so cold, as the outdoor patio space looked charming. Highly recommended, and would be a fantastic location for summer fun, as well!

Amazing Weekend
We stayed for 4 days/3 nights, all six of us had plenty of room and the owners were amazing with communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend to anyone who wanted a nice quiet stay.

We just loved it they had two tvs which was awesome and they had Netflix and they actually had cable which really surprised me working wifi the kitchen is just beautiful with all the amenities and the fire pit was awesome it was very clean and would be glad to come back here

Cozy cottage for skiing at Gore
Cozy cottage with very functional kitchen, great gas stove in the living room! Cant beat the proximity to Gore Mtn. - 5 minutes - and the mud room that made it easy to put on kids ski boots before leaving the house! Beds for all 8 of us was key! Loft got a little hot when the stove was on, and the house across the street was an eye sore / but, I’d stay there again because house and it’s owners were great! Helped me on the phone w/stove!

Perfect ski house
We had a nice long weekend in North Creek. The location to Gore and walking distance to town was great. We worked and the kids did school from the house - it was a perfect getaway for us.

Excellent base for Gore Mountain
Stayed there for three nights in February with family, including children. Despite the freezing temperatures outside, the cottage was very cozy and warm. The kitchen is well equipped, clean and organized. The WiFi was mostly reliable and strong. The shower was good in terms of reliable hot water and pressure. The only downside is the immediate neighborhood - derelict house across the street, commercial buildings, etc. On the plus side, it’s about as close to Gore Mountain as you can get.

Very nice, comfortable cottage
This cottage is well decorated, clean, comfortable, has many amenities and supplies (eg in bathroom and kitchen). Fire pit outside is nice perk. The only suggestion I would have is screens for some of the windows. There are several A/C units. There is no washer/dryer so bring all the clothes you need or there is a laundromat a short distance away. It’s nice to be just a few blocks from Main St where there is a grocery store, cafes, shops. We had a very pleasant stay.

Great location
Perfect little ski cottage, the fireplace warms the whole house. Had a very at home feel with very comfortable beds and perfect location in town ,with an easy drive to the slopes! My next ski trip to Gore I will absolutely rebook this property.

GREAT place to stay
We were really happy with this property. It is in a great location, close to the main drag of town, and was super cozy. The house was clean and welcoming and the property manager is right across the street. The email confirmations and reminders were very helpful and explained all the details. The price was reasonable. We would definitely stay again.

As advertised. We had a great time and all went well. Easy check in. Good location. Great area to explore. Only recommendation I have would be some check out or before you leave instructions posted on the fridge or something. Highly recommend if traveling to the area. Great place to rent.

Nice place close to Mount Gore and town
We enjoyed our stay and would come back. It was great for a family with 4 young children. Close driving distance to Mt Gore for skiing and walking distance to town with a a couple bakeries and a small Tops grocery store. Owners let us check in a few hours early which was great. Taking off one one star for the surrounding area and extreme noise from snowmobiles in the middle of the night.

The house was beautiful and peaceful. A perfect getaway for a couple or family vacation!
The property was beautiful and in a prime location. A 5 minute walk around the corner from Main Street with delicious food and coffee, Tops Supermarket, wine store and cute vintage thrift stores. A quick 30 minute drive to beautiful Schroon Lake and close to I-87 which can take you anywhere from Albany all the way to Plattbsurgh (where we took a day trip to). The house itself was beautiful. Beautiful wood interior. A great loft with two extra beds, a bed room with not one, but TWO bunk beds, a spacious bed room and living room to relax and watch TV after a long day. The kitchen had everything we needed as well as bath towels, extra blankets and pillows. Ruth and Fred were amazing hosts. Although we didn’t get to meet them, they ALWAYS answered every phone call and answered every question that we had. They also left menus on the fridge of local breakfast spots which came in handy. The house also had a beautiful deck with chairs and tables, along with a firepit in the driveway. A very peaceful place for a drink or a snack at sunset or for a morning coffee. Ruth and Fred left directions for the wifi and TV. This was a very relaxing getaway for us. The area was very quiet and peaceful which we definitely needed. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone! Very convenient location, pretty landscapes in the distance. Can’t wait for our next stay in the home!

Nice Winter Cottage
Stayed here with 2 friends for a ski trip in March. The property is a little worn now compared to the photographs provided, but overall, we had a nice stay with everything we needed. The cottage is in a spot convenient to the mountain and main street which was appreciated. I would recommend this cottage for winter travelers. The neighborhood is not conducive to outdoor relaxing.

Just perfect
This is a very nice, easy to use home. We came for a ski weekend at Gore Mountain and the location could not have been better. Quick to the slopes and right on the edge of town. Myself, and 5 boys aged 16 to 22 fit comfortably and even the 1 bathroom (2 sinks) was enough for us. I prepared all our meals and the kitchen was just right too. The entry way to the home received our equipment well and the house stayed dry and cozy. Everything was clean and it felt like home to us.

Nice time at Gore
We had a nice stay in North Creek. The house was very neat and clean and was perfect for a family of 5 with 3 small kids. We spent our days at Gore and at night either cooked or ate at Basil and Wicks. The only hiccup would be that we lost WiFi on our last night. Not really an issue because the kids had board games and a working DVD player in the kids room. We would rent again.
