The Marie is Ready to Host You and Yours

Nestled in the heart of North Charleston is The Marie. The Marie encompasses 5 generations of authentic low country living. Whether it's a girl's trip, bro's weekend, couples getaway, or family retreat, The Marie is where you want to be.

The Marie offers a mix of traditional, modern, and low country setting that offers comfort and privacy. Enjoy the hustle and bustle of downtown Charleston and escape to The Marie to relax after a busy day of shopping and eating.

The property encompasses space for up to 6 people comfortably and basic home amenities, television streaming (Netflix, Sling, Roku), and peace. Please be advised that local channels are only available via Sling. Central AC and ceiling fans are present. There are also a few baby amenities including high chair, play mat, baby wipe warmer, bottle cleaning rack, and travel crib. We're ready to host you.

We're located in the heart of North Charleston near interstate 26, Rivers Ave, and University Blvd. Close to shopping, recreation, grocery, and restaurants. Tanger Outlets, Amtrak, Airport, and Convention Center are approx 15 mins drive. Downtown historic Charleston is about 20 mins drive. Folly beach is approximately 22 miles away and Wannamaker water park is 8 mins away.


Note: Trash and recycling bins should be placed on the curb for collection no earlier than 8pm Tuesday night for Wednesday morning collection. If guest is staying at the residence thru Wednesday, please collect the bins by 6pm Wednesday and return them back to an open location next to the garage.

Pets are welcome, but be advised that there is a $65 pet fee for up to 2 dogs of medium size. Reservations will more than 2 pets will incur an additional $25 charge. Please take care to clean up after your little ones. Waste bags are provided to keep the yard clean.

By submitting a reservation, and upon subsequent approval by the host of the reservation, guest agrees to absolve host of all injury and property liabilities incurred on the property. Guests will be held responsible for all damage to the property. Email for Hourly/Dayuse Rates.

Perfect house for our stay. About 10-15 min drive to the Ice Palace (depending on time of day). Wonderful pet-friendly house and fenced-in backyard. Rooms were clean, towels and furnishings were plentiful. Internet is speedy. Nice that the host allows day guests, so we were able to have a teammate and parent hang out with us for a few hours one afternoon. The best part is that the host was so easy to communicate with and super responsive at all times. Thank you!!

This property is well kept and had everything that we needed. We appreciated the ability to do laundry, Roku TV in every bedroom, private backyard, and nice quiet neighborhood. It is close to the airport which was a plus for us. It is about a 30-45 minute drive to two very nice county beaches (Isle of Palms Beach and Folly Beach). We stayed in North Charleston because of proximity to a wedding we attended. After exploring Charleston and surrounding areas we would likely stay more south of Charleston if we visit again. I would recommend this property if you need to be in North Charleston.

Rental was BETTER than advertised and expected!!! COMPLETELY Spotless Cleaned throughout the property, the Host was SOOO easy to reach out (with extra local contacts if needed them too), Perfect for my 'fur brother' who said it was "Woof-derful" and very Pet Friendly! Convenient to All Things Charleston Area and a Very Nice Neighborhood! HIGHLY recommend if you're staying in the area to stay at The Marie! Truly felt like home away from home!
Bubba says that ALL Dogs and their humans will LOVE staying at the Marie! Best Back Yard to play ball or throw a frisbee!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean and comfortable, making it easy to settle in and relax. We’re especially grateful for the thoughtful extras—having beach toys and accessories available made our beach days even more fun and stress-free. This was our second stay at The Marie, and we’ve already booked two more stays. The property is very clean and comfortable. It’s also more spacious than you would think, with plenty of room to spread out. The back yard is large, fenced, and well maintained. The owners are easy to communicate with and make the process very smooth. You get so much for your money here, it’s hard to even think about booking somewhere else.

Second time stay

This was the second time I stayed at this property with family to visit my son. It is in a great location, in a quiet neighborhood yet very close to shopping and the Navy base. Extremely clean home that is very pet friendly. The beds are very comfortable, we couldn’t ask for better accommodations. We definitely plan to stay there the next time we are in town.

Lovely Charleston Stay

Our friend group stayed for the High Water Music festival. We had a lovely time staying at the Marie. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean.

My son is in the United States Navy and the location of this property was perfect proximity to the graduation venue. Only downfall was the unusual cold but that had nothing to do with the property. Would definitely revisit and recommend.

Nice home in good location!

This home in North Charleston worked well and had plenty of space for our group of 7. The location was great, a short drive to the historic sites in Charleston and a nice quiet neighborhood to come back to at the end of the day!
