"What a gorgeous hotel. The garden room for the girls (our two Standard Poodles 💕) was absolutely perfect, they even had their own gift boxes and beds waiting for them, which was such a bonus. The team at The Royal George were wonderful, and Kirsty in particular couldn’t do enough for us. The whole place is spotless, beautifully thought through, and felt hugely welcoming. "We checked in approx 6.45pm (en-route to dropping our daughter back at her uni digs in Bath & returned after) on a dark January evening. Seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, but we found it OK. Welcomed by Victoria - Steve (owner) was on holiday. Shown to our room & how we had access to the lounge & kitchen. Such a lovely house. Lots to look at. No TV in our room, so thought we’d watch the one downstairs - it wasn’t to be, though, as we couldn’t find the remote control - lol! Too late by then...

"Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at the old garage, very clean very homely and very modern, everything you could need for a break away, we did find the bed a little on the hard side but everyone has different comfort level with that, shower was amazing, host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed on arrival, would definitely stay again if we were in the area! "

"Extremely pleasant stay, super clean and the pictures are exactly what you get. Kitchen items make it extremely convenient to cook from home which was a huge bonus. Host is friendly with great communication. The location is also great with good distances to interesting attractions, lots to do around the area! Highly recommended!"
