"A really comfortable stay, and a great night's sleep, that felt miles away from the hustle and bustle of Bristol, but still close enough to other amenities that you don't feel isolated. I didn't have dinner on this occasion, due to other commitments, but the menu looked very enticing. Breakfast was well presented and tasted amazing. Just what i needed whilst working away from home. "A couple of nights away with the girls. The apartment was overall good. I should have checked when booking but there is no parking. The area Redlands is nice. The outside of the apartment needs tidying up. The beds and bedding were comfortable but when we went to make one of the beds into double (was a zip lock) the sheeting was filthy with bloody stains. The cleaner did come the next day to change the bedding but was a bit grim. The shower facilities weren’t great as the flow was very weak....

"This place is a pub with rooms and my feeling is that the rooms are generally rented by working men on short stays. Not couples in their 70s like me and my husband. For example there was a clothes rail but no coat hangers. And no hair dryer but plenty of USB points. The bed was large and very comfortable. The main plus of the Crafty Cow was the staff. They were all lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. Especially the brilliant Graham who did source me a hairdryer. I’m a smoker so the...
