"Excellent place to stay"

"The staff is very friendly. The usual pet friendly rooms are being renovated, so it is a longer walk to a grassy area. Otherwise everything is great."

"The room was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were both friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants within short driving distance. We had a wonderful dinner at a nearby Italian restaurant—delicious food at a reasonable price. Overall, a pleasant and enjoyable experience!"

"This was an incredible experiene. The room was extremely clean. It was well laid out. Chris and his family were most gracious and helpful. Despite being full there was no sound transmission. The white fish in the restaurant is to die for. Ill figure out a way to make it back here."

"It’s not the newest hotel in the area but it’s a mom and pop hotel which has been well maintained. Staff was excellent, room was clean and it’s located is easy for everyone. I’d stay here again without a doubt "

"This is something that you are seeing driving over Lake Superior. People buying old run down properties and working tirelessly to fix them up. It is not fancy or spectacular, but the room was very clean and pretty comfortable. The staff were extremely courteous and attentive. I would (and most likely will) stay there again! "
