"We stay here when our flight out of SHV is early. The proximity to the airport makes it easy. The hotel is relatively clean, could use some updating and fixing of certain things but overall its good for what we need it. The staff is always kind and helpful. Easy check in. Parking always seems to work out."

"It was an expensive night for a facility that had roaches. I will stay somewhere else the next time I’m in Ruston. I do like the qwik trip across the way and the location is convenient."

"All is right except to go to parking, it is easy to lost the entrance and again go to hwy 20."

"The staff was truly incredible. The lady at the front desk was more than accommodating and so friendly! And she remembered us any time we walked by. The breakfast was really fresh and delicious. We had one of the newly renovated rooms and it was very nice. I love staying at Hampton Inn any town I visit. The only issue we had was when we got back to the hotel after the event we were staying for, there was no parking at all in our parking lot or the one next door. "

Especially the guy who checked us in (can’t remember name) anyways room smelled strongly of pet urine it was almost unbearable we drove 14 hrs I was tired I didn’t care but the nxt morning I had to buy my own fresheners. Huge opening at bottom of door so I had one eye open for bugs or snakes."

"The common area’s windows, carpets, entrance doors, elevators all needed a good cleaning. The carpet looked as if it had never been vacuumed not to mention shampooed. The room was somewhat better, but stuffy and the shower left a lot to be desired. The kitchen area looked relatively clean but we did not use it. The main dining area in the lobby appeared somewhat better than other common areas in the building. I rated 2 stars because the room wasn’t quite as bad. The staff was friendly and...
